Several years ago, we ran a TV commercial that featured a guy telling a true story about hauling one of our hard coolers out of his car, which had burned to a crisp, only to discover that the frozen shrimp in the cooler were still frozen.
The spot caught the attention of a popular consumer evangelist who challenged product claims every week on the national television show he hosted.
His producers decided to put our cooler to the test.
They recreated the fire in a junked car (don’t try this at home) and wouldn’t you know, the cooler contents were still frosty when they were finally able to crack open the lid.
