got this tent for family camping, took it up to Pictured Rocks national Lake Shore for 5 Nights. We had 5 large cots and still had plenty of room for "stuff".
it Rained two times at night and not a drop of water got in.
each night I left the "top off" and when there was a sign of rain it only took 2 minutes to put the top on.
I set it up twice in my yard prior to our trip and I am glad that i did. while it was easy once you figured it out it took a longer on the first try.
one thing to know is that that the stakes are not optional on this tent ( not a free standing tent). the stakes help hold up the tent.
for the price and as a family tent I think this tent is a great choice.
