Rated 1 out of 5 by from Questionable quality I bought this battery operated lantern a few years ago. I liked that it had a rechargeable battery and it came with a charger which could plug into my car's electrical port (formerly called a cigarette lighter) and it came with an extra battery. I used it only four times the first summer I got it for a total illumination time of about 1 hr. Next season, it would not light. It was never dropped or left out in bad weather; it just wouldn't work. I charged the battery for a really long time, then I exchanged batteries but it still would not work. I thought that maybe there was something wrong with the light bulb (although I couldn't imagine what, since I never bumped the lamp ever), but you can't take the lamp apart to look at the bulb, much less replace it. I still have the lamp; I keep hoping I'll find some magical way of taking the lamp apart to figure out how to fix it. I hate to throw out something that lasted only about 1 hour. Don't waste your money
