10-Person Dark Room Instant Cabin Tent with Rainfly is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great tent We have used this tent 4 times so far. I’m able to set it up by myself although it would be easier with 2 people. Really easy Set up. I did set it up on a windy day 40 mph +. And had some trouble with the rods buckling in during setup, as expected. After the rain fly was installed and few windows were opened it was completely fine. In the morning we’re were able to sleep in past 9:00, so the sun was not an issue thanks to the darkroom tech. I’m completely satisfied with this tent so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy setup, roomy, and weathered the storm. Used mine at a festival in upstate NY. It was easy to setup, by far the easiest tent setup we've ever had!! It was darker, but not pitch black. Actually using all of the stakes and lines was key for air circulation, otherwise it gets stuffy quick. We had a night of severe thunderstorms, which the tent withstood fairly well. I left the tent briefly in the middle of the storms, and realized that the door was only velcrod as we'd forgot to zip it. We still had minimal leakage, however I would highly recommend zipping up all of the doors and windows to the top, this way the rain fly can do it's job. The tent was cool enough to relax in during 80 plus days, which was really nice. The dark room technology also adds a level of privacy at night, as people outside could barely see when our lights were on at night.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I'm Coleman Loyal My Coleman equipment always performs well. For the money, I have no complaint save one... I felt discouraged when I saw it was assembled in Bangladesh.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Rain fly has problems These instant up or fast pitch tent are pretty good unless it rains. The rain fly does not protect the door from water dripping off the rain fly, so each time you go in or out water drips into the tent. This is also true of the windows unless almost completely zipped up. The rain fly really does need to be re-designed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Nice Tent Overall this tent will be a nice upgrade for us from the old Instant Tent Model. We had the 8 person one previously so we are getting an extra 2 feet in width and an extra couple inches in standing height. The material over the years for Coleman tents seems to be depreciating a little bit over the years which is why I gave this a 4 star review. The tarp part on the bottom of the tent is somewhat thin but as long as you place the tent on a tarp and do not put sharp objects inside the tent you should be able to avoid holes. Their wall fabric is also a little bit thin and the stitching could be thicker. There were points in the seams where I can see light coming through. I think a little bit of increased cost in manufacturing would help this tent really stand out. As it is though - you have to purchase it with the understanding at most it will probably only last a few years with heavy use. I really like the addition of the extension cord insert in the corner and the auto door is an improvement on the previous door - although it still is hard for taller people to crouch down and get in (you lost some height of the door from the previous version). The dark room technology is nice - but I don't believe it helps keep the tent cooler. In fact - it gets very claustrophobic in there very quickly if the sun is out and the windows are shut. It will be VERY nice for sleeping though. The price was good for the quality because I was able to snag this on-sale. Would have been more disappointed if I had paid full price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Good First Use I initially thought that the attached set up instructions were in English on the front and Spanish on the back. I called and talked to a person there who seemed befuddled, and said she was going to e-mail me the English instructions. She never did. Then my son noted that there were actually two instruction sheets close together, and after peeling them apart we found the top one was in English and the bottom one was in Spanish. Problem solved. The instructions should be more complete on just how to get it popped up easily, and also back in the bag when done. I had to uncover one of the pop up joints to understand how they worked and what to expect from them. On my first actual use in west Texas, for the last 7 days, a strong wind blew it in during set up after I had it popped it up and staked it down but before I got the rainfly and guy ropes attached. I needed help from a fellow camper to get it popped up again. After that, the structure remained solid and stood up to the wind without failure. Importantly, the front of the tent was not marked so I was unsure of how to set the tent on the pad. The main entry door was difficult to zip open and closed. Otherwise I liked all the features of the tent. The dark room worked well, but the morning sun on the main entry door side still heated us up pretty quick. I did not use any of the storage pouches. It would be nice to have a clothes line and lamp hanger hook built into the ceiling. There were no reviews on this tent and no other venders when I purchased it directly from your Coleman site.
