10-Person Dark Room Instant Cabin Tent with Rainfly is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 81.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from This tent cannot stand up to the wind or rain! I was out camping with my family and a storm came up. Not really a bad storm, just 15-20 mph and a lot of rain. One entire end of the tent collapsed and despite moving the guy lines and trying to tighten them up, it kept collapsing. The wind also blew rain up and over the walls into the tent under the fly and the seams leaked. I'm just glad I was sleeping on a cot and not on the floor. For a $350 tent you would at least expect it to not fall down During fair weather, the tent is fine, but during foul weather this tent is terrible. I'm actually considering getting rid of this tent after just one summer and getting something different.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great tent We have used this tent 4 times so far. I’m able to set it up by myself although it would be easier with 2 people. Really easy Set up. I did set it up on a windy day 40 mph +. And had some trouble with the rods buckling in during setup, as expected. After the rain fly was installed and few windows were opened it was completely fine. In the morning we’re were able to sleep in past 9:00, so the sun was not an issue thanks to the darkroom tech. I’m completely satisfied with this tent so far.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dark Room is cool The Dark Room technology is really pretty cool, but this tent is unable to withstand even light rain. Thankfully we tried it in the back yard, otherwise it would have been a long wet night. The rainfly keeps the top dry, but water runs off of it down onto the walls of the tent and through the zippers, seems, and walls. We live in the Pacific northwest, so the chance of rain is ever present. If you could guarantee no rain, then this tent is just fine, otherwise, I would stay away from it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not good in rain First night at Patrick's Point State Park it rained. Water seeped through tent walls. We had rain fly on but it didn't stop rain from coming in through the walls, zippers, and seams. By morning we had puddles inside tent. This was the first time we had used this tent. I have never had a tent do this poorly in my thirty six years of tent camping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy setup, roomy, and weathered the storm. Used mine at a festival in upstate NY. It was easy to setup, by far the easiest tent setup we've ever had!! It was darker, but not pitch black. Actually using all of the stakes and lines was key for air circulation, otherwise it gets stuffy quick. We had a night of severe thunderstorms, which the tent withstood fairly well. I left the tent briefly in the middle of the storms, and realized that the door was only velcrod as we'd forgot to zip it. We still had minimal leakage, however I would highly recommend zipping up all of the doors and windows to the top, this way the rain fly can do it's job. The tent was cool enough to relax in during 80 plus days, which was really nice. The dark room technology also adds a level of privacy at night, as people outside could barely see when our lights were on at night.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Rain fly has problems These instant up or fast pitch tent are pretty good unless it rains. The rain fly does not protect the door from water dripping off the rain fly, so each time you go in or out water drips into the tent. This is also true of the windows unless almost completely zipped up. The rain fly really does need to be re-designed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Leaked even with waterproofing! Bought for camping trips around Michigan. Spacious enough to fit a pack n play and a queen air mattress with room to spare. We wanted extra space for the kid to play around in on wet days. Well I didn't realize she would be playing in puddles INSIDE the tent! We waterproofed it ourselves because of experience. We had a heavy rainfall and put a tarp over the tent and still woke up with puddles surrounding our bed and our stuff being soaked. The quality is just not there. We could see daylight thru the seams and zippers. We like how easy it is to set up and take down.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Darker technology We have had the praire tent and love it. This one would be better with the door in the center like the prarie one. Also wish the rainflys were a bit lower so when raining you can have the windows open for ventelation. Come on Coleman you can improve it.
