Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from This is a great unit. We used it at our seasonal campsite for 2 summers. We were in a tree'd site and it was fantastic. We got out of seasonal camping but wanted to create the same atmosphere at home. The canopy had damage when we took it down for the fall (we always put it completely away in the off seaseon). So we are looking to purchase a replacement canopy. It was the sun that did the damage and they tell you that from the get go. We love our unit and plan to have one as long as we have a house. Our grandkiddos come over a lot in the summer and they love it too! last photo is the unit when it was at our seasonal campsite. Everyone loved it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jay C from Cheap plastic joints I bought this on Amazon on June 1, 2018 and found it to be a great addition for a house party we had in 2018. I also used it 2 other times for June-July camping trips in 2019 and really enjoyed it. Upon trying to open it for a Sept. camping trip in 2019, I found every corner plastic joint broken. It was not due to a fall or mishandling as I take pride in treating my things well (and a fall or handling would not likely cause every joint to break at the same time.) Poor quality plastic connections. I would not recommend this product if you want something that will last for more than a couple years.

We've had this shelter for four years and have used it a total of perhaps 4 weeks in that time. in between uses, it's been stored in a clean dry, climate-controlled spare room in our home. I gave this one star for the frame alone--it' dependable and sturdy. HOWEVER, The cover has not held up and is currently so thin and weak I can poke my finger through it. The last time we set it up it developed tears all over from where we were handling it. There's not enough substance left o the fabric to even try to patch. For such an expensive TEMPORARY and SHORT-LIVED shelter, it's shameful that Coleman does not provide a replacement cover!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rockwall from My Outdoor Living Room I have purchased 2 of these instant screen houses and each year I set it up in my yard. I have replaced the roof twice over the last 4 years, but the sides and the frame are in good shape from year to year. I assemble mine alone and it goes up quickly. I use three heavy potted trees to tie the outer ropes off and I have a fourth rope secured to the side of my house. I LIVE in mine in Summer evenings and it is my own little oasis. Very pleasant, keeps the bugs out and keeps me smiling.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Radar1 from Easy to use and packs up nicely We were interested in a screenhouse that would be large enough to hold at least six people, yet pack up small enough to fit in out short bed pickup truck. Saw the Coleman screenhouse and it fits into a shorter 4' long package, just right for our truck and SUV. PROS; easy to erect, even with just one person (I'm 66 years old and can put it up), good ventilation even with screens up, or they can can be removed. Great stability in the wind, two entrances available for more flexibility. Sturdy and well built. CONS; no wind/rain sides available (although shower curtains can be rigged up for rain/wind protection, we used clear so friends could see us while camping). Roof material not quite as heavy duty as some. Roof is not waterproof roof (it is water repellent though). If you are just looking for shade and insect protection, this is pretty darned good!

Rated 5 out of 5 by bufflecat from Screenhouse Survives High Winds In August of 2016 I was camping in northeastern Minnesota when a very severe line of thunderstorms came through during the night. Since I was leaving the next morning and weather was fine that evening, I did not have the Screenhouse staked into the ground. The storm was so severe that our tent was blown over with us in it and trees were knocked down. At sunrise I surveyed the damage and found the Screenhouse crumpled like a dead bug in the forest. To my surprise when I pulled it out, it was virtually undamaged. One bolt was broken off, but the Screenhouse was otherwise undamaged. I am happy to report that we have used it many times since that storm in 2016 and it continues to function beautifully. What a top notch product! Thanks for making things that last a good long time under real wilderness circumstances.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Oaktree from Horrible top cover quality. I got the Screened Canopy last Summer (July 2020). Used for about 3 weeks in my backyard. Put it away then put it up again two weeks ago (Nov 9 2021). After two days, we see three huge tears on the canopy top. We got good shade in our backyard. The canopy has never been under any rainy day. It was just a little windy the night before we discovered the tears. I still have a cheap Ozark canopy bought on sale from Walmart years ago. The Walmart one is smaller and much lighter so we brought with us on many, many camping trips (many of them are Winter camping, where we got Snow and Rain); it’s still in a good condition. We paid about four times more for this Coleman so it’s a huge disappointed. We don’t really know for sure what we’re going to do with the canopy now. Throw it away or repair it?

Rated 1 out of 5 by Mickie618 from Not very durable..... If you plan on using alot this is not the unit to buy. The frame is sturdy and well built but the canopy just will not hold up. I live up North so there are only a few months of use. Possibly 5 months the first year. Second year there were tears developing from continued weakening of fabric and there isn't a replacement canopy available. So now I have the frame and the screen and it's become useless. Too much money to not have any replacement parts.
