Rated 5 out of 5 by shogun45 from Best Shelter you can buy! I've had this shelter for over 10 years and it has never failed me. Under the worst weather conditions and high winds I saw countless shelter get torn up and blow away. It is not something easy to carry around but if you drive up and set it up they are awesome. I have a small 18' RV with an awning, I set this up right next to the awning and have a fully covered area under any weather condition to move around in. I have also purchase 3 sun shades to put up as needed to block low wind and rain. We go out just about every weekend during the summer and it always amazes people how well it work compared to their traditional square ones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JeanNH from Sturdy, plenty of space I use this camping with my teardrop trailer. It provides sufficient clearance for the rear hatch of my trailer and space to spare. It sheds rain easily, has a wind vent to help it withstand the wind as well. The straps help you square it up, but once it is staked in place, you don't need to leave them there. If you don't stake it, however, the legs will move outward; you need either the straps or stakes. Takes 15-20 minutes to erect and there is a learning curve, but great color and comfort. The poles are sturdy and they slide in and out of position easily, no buttons to push, etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Michael2018 from Excellent Shelter Great for our camping needs. Plenty of room to accommodate large picnic table, camp chairs, etc and still room to walk around, great for those rainy days. It's made very well and hopefully will last a long time. We've only had it a couple months and have used it for 2 camping trips so far. The set-up and take-down is pretty easy, a little more time consuming than our previous shelter but this provides much better performance, especially holding up to windy conditions. The only drawback would be it's packaged weight, but for car camping that no problem.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Shelly from Love the size Used it Twice for camping. First time great. Second time Velcro straps ripped tent, but still usable. Just disappointed in quality and because it was used never contacted Coleman.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Abby from Exactly what I wanted I am using this in my treeless backyard to give me kids some relief from the sun. We can fit their jungle gym underneath without a problem, plus their picnic table and a chair for Mom. I like not having to duck to get inside, although I am only 5’3”. The big entrances allow for a nice breeze as well. I was able the set this up for the first time by myself in about 25 min. It will be much quicker second time around. Or with an extra person. The fabric was very tight initially, I had to fully loosen all the straps. It’s been up for 2 weeks, and the fabric has stretched, so I will need to tighten the straps. No pooling of water in the rain. No trouble with wind, although we haven’t had too adverse weather recently.

Rated 5 out of 5 by oldcampergal from I like it. I've just used it once, but I like it. I can put it up and take it down by myself, which is cool. I did put it up over to the side and had a few friends help me move it to over the picnic table, but later realized I could have simply erected it over the table. Since I camp where picnic tables are almost always impossible to move, I cannot use the measuring tape ribbon thingy that comes with it. I did do my best to use it to space out the side measurements before staking, though. I like the height of it and I like the extra room (my previous was 10x10). Hope it lasts.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Gingeroo from Good design but not durable Bought this to use on the beach. Great design and goes up easily. However, the first time we used it, the wind picked it up (12 mph winds that day) and one of the poles bent at a joint. The stakes included with the tent just aren’t strong enough to hold the tent on the beach. So, we bought sandbags separately and used the tent again. The sandbags worked very well and the tent was anchored well. When taking the tent apart, one of the elastic pieces connecting a pole joint broke. So, after 2 uses, we have two separate issues. We can work around both faults, but makes me wonder how long this tent will be usable. Unfortunately, Coleman does not offer replacement parts so we can’t fix it. I really like the design and ease of putting it up and the cover shape provides more shade. I just wish we could get replacements for broken poles.
