Rated 1 out of 5 by Jodie from So did not live up to expectations For a Coastal Xtreme Series Marine cooler, this was a huge disappointment. Even pre-cooled, and kept inside of our air conditioned camper, it could not keep a 20 lb. of ice for 24 hours. We put the ice into it in the evening and by mid-day, the next day, it was almost all melted. Never would make 3 days unless perhaps it was one solid block and the cooler never opened. Would not buy again, not worth the hassle to return.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Gypsumguy from This is perfect for my trunck or meal of 12 Keeps things COLD! Wish they would use SS hinges however... I use this in the trunk of my car with some ice packs. This way I can get some groceries over lunch and they stay cold until I get home. It is also large enough for a small crowd. I packed two salmon and 12 lbs of other stuff for a low country boil. Feed 12 people easy. I replaced the plastic hinges since they would always want to close the lid with Coleman Stainless Steel hinges. I also added a Coleman SS lid cable to remove the stress on the hinges when the lid is open. It is perfect now! I would give Coleman 5 stars if they had done this for me. It is still a sturdy and a high insulated cooler. There is no reason to pay $400 for a super insulated, VERY heavy and small capacity, over hyped cooler. The white is great when in the sun to keep things cool as well. You will not be disappointed no matter what hinge you use!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hadley from Perfect size and no small parts to wear out. This was for cruising cocktail parties on my boat. It is the perfect size to keep ice and mixers cold. Great portability too. It also doubles as a keeper of frozen food when grocery shopping in the summer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by ROK1612 from Good cooler with a couple flaws We needed a decent cooler that would hold ice for a couple days and figured we would try this since I really like my 120qt. This one held ice for a couple days and served it’s purpose but has a cheaper/weak handle. Also, the lid does not completely seal tightly when closed, it has some wiggle room to it. Overall, it served its purpose and the weaknesses come with the price paid.

Rated 3 out of 5 by John C from Affordable but marginal quality hinges Screws started levering out of lid on first opening due to stiff plastic hinges. Many reviews include handle breaking first or second use.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Aron85 from Not up to par for a “marine” cooler We boat, daily. We use this as our beverage cooler since it fits right into a cubby hole. It is advertised as a marine cooker, but the ice was completely melted within 6 hours. How is that right? We had to invest in a quality soft cooler which we keep inside the cooler and that is doing the trick. Honest opinion: not worth the money.
