4-Person Dark Room Sundome Tent
Set up camp in the compact yet roomy Coleman 4-Person Dark Room Sundome Tent. Dark Room technology blocks 90% of sunlight so families can put the kids to bed early and festival goers can sleep in past sunrise; it also reduces temperatures in the tent, letting your group enjoy a comfortable night's sleep. If it rains, this tent is guaranteed to keep you dry thanks to the WeatherTec system, which uses a tub floor with patented corner welds and protected seams to help keep water out. You'll get even more weather protection from a door awning and an included rainfly. Meanwhile, the compact dome shape and strong frame have been tested to withstand 35+ mph winds. Two windows increase air circulation to help you stay cool and comfortable. Setup is simple with snag-free, continuous pole sleeves, a patented pin-and-ring system, and snag-free Insta-Clip suspension. Inside, comfortably fit 1 queen-size airbed, neatly stash small items in mesh storage pockets sewn into the walls, and conveniently bring in electrical power with the E-Port feature. When it's time to head home, the tent easily packs up into an expandable carrying bag until you're off on your next adventure.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Scoutmom from Poles wrong and broken We bought the four person dark room tent. To begin, one of the poles was starting to crack at the end straight out of the box. Then, once the poles were inserted into the sleeve and bent to set up the tent one side was too long and wouldn't fit. We even switched the poles and still ended up with the same issue. Not sure if it is the poles or the tent that is not correct. We were at our camp location for a first cub scout camp out and could not get it replaced. Four seasoned camping adults could not fix the issue. After one nights use the pole that started with a small split is now split to the middle. This tent is going back and we will try something different.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MedsMan from Good Value Good Value. Have used it so far for 3 Camp outs 2 -- 2 night and 1 6 night. Withstood very bad rain storm, but Power Cord Port leaked --zipped up, so must watch after storm... keep bedding away from that corner. Dark room is nice and ventilation is ample --have had no morning dew inside tent so far. Quick setup one person. Buy a heavy duty tarp for bottom if placing Cots in it. Will it last many years, we shall see. Very ample space for 2 people (Queen mattress) + Storage. Folds nicely into small footprint. Good car camping tent...not suitable for back packing. It is a 3 season tent only.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Danl from torrential rain tested first day needed a replacement for old tent with limited in person places to purchase but this looked ok. And it is. Was easier to erect than old one. The floor is much better than it also. Seems durable and water resistant. I'm not sure I like the dark room feature. It's dark in there! It does minimize the sun's heat though. A thunderstorm with heavy rain hit my campsite area around 1A.M. and so no signs of water at all. floor was not even damp.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Paintedwhiterose from Great product Bought it a local store , set it up at home to make sure I could set it up alone and that all the parts were not defective .. low and behold it took me only 7 mins to set up .. all the parts were there and everything was easy as can be expected. At first it was a little wonky setting up the two poles across it is not necessarily but very helpful to have a second person hold up the two poles in the center and making sure the poles are even across .. the poles sit away from the tent not flush . Love the zip up windows .. and the rain fly is a slight odd I recommend putting the pole in first then attaching it .. there were not tears or rips and the Quality the stitches very good . The seams could probably use a seam goo but if it’s not raining then it shouldn’t be a problem . It’s bigger than I expected and I can easily fit myself and two tall teen boys inside . The take down and fold up was not too hard and all fit back in the bag if your careful and fold nicely . I’ll do another review after the 4th of July camping trip and update you all .

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous Camper from Awesome tent for the money! Girlfriend and I went camping with this tent last weekend and it was perfect! Set up was a breeze (definitely recommend staking the corners first), the rain fly & darkening coating worked REALLY well, the seamless bathtub tarp bottom was well constructed, and the overall aesthetics of the tent are pretty cool. Personally, I really liked the light colored rain fly as it helped identify ticks, spiders, and other bugs during tear down. The darkening coating on the underside of the fly worked REALLY well too. There was one point in the night that we literally couldn't see the hands in front of our faces! There was a small thunderstorm that rolled through in the early morning on our last day, but everything held up very well! No leaks, no bent poles. If there was something to critique this tent on it would be the general ventilation. I'm sure the darkening aspect helped reduce the heat gain a bit, because it really was humid and hot that weekend, but it felt a little stuffy at times - even with the front and back window open. This to me wasn't enough to reduce the overall rating though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JDogg1980 from GREAT VALUE!!!! The IDEAL tent for a young family starting out in camping. Simple setup in good or bad weather. Dark interior is FANTASTIC for sleeping in or for children taking an afternoon nap. The zip-up electric portal is the icing on the cake for that electric cooler or charging phones and laptops. I use my tent for travel camping. Fits nice and tidy in my duffle bag while flying/driving to my destinations. I only wish the tent had a screened rainproof porch where I could lounge around in or remove my wet clothes in separate from the sleeping area like European tents do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Heli pilot 7610 from Best tent ever Having had many tents before I decided this time to spend the extra money for this one and I'm sure glad I did. The tent stays at least 10 degrees cooler which makes it nice after a long day of hiking where you can lay down for a break without baking before getting the fire going for dinner. The quality is far more superior and has outlasted some of my other tents after the first year. Looking forward to this years adventures not having to worry about the tent failing.
