6-Person Dark Room Fast Pitch Dome Tent with Screen Room
The Coleman 6-Person Dark Room Fast Pitch Dome Tent with Screen Room blocks 90% of sunlight so families can put the kids to bed early and festival goers can sleep in past sunrise. A separate floored screen room offers bug-free lounging, extra ventilation, and added sleeping space on warm, dry nights. If it does rain, this tent is guaranteed to keep you dry thanks to the WeatherTec system, which uses a tub floor with patented corner welds and protected seams to help keep water out. Additionally, extended awnings over the windows allow for improved air circulation without letting in rain. Meanwhile, a strong frame tested to withstand 35+ mph winds and rugged Polyguard 2X double-thick fabric mean this tent is designed to last season after season. Fast Pitch setup in minutes is simple with preattached, color-coded poles and hub and a snag-free Insta-Clip suspension. Illumiline reflective guylines are more visible at night so you don't get tripped up if you need to take a walk in the dark. Inside, comfortably stretch out with room to fit 2 queen-size airbeds, neatly stash small items in mesh storage pockets sewn into the walls, and conveniently bring in electrical power with the E-Port feature. When it's time to head home, the tent easily packs up into an expandable carrying bag until you're off on your next adventure.

Rated 2 out of 5 by MelissaP. from Design flaws I like the darkroom technology and the inside of the tent was spacious, however the overall design has major flaws. First the screenroom needs to have a larger rain fly my sceenroom was always flooded. Second the main tent pole is not removable which makes packing up difficult.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Ginette Goguen from Claims tent keeps you dry Love the tent part; hate the screened room area because it fills up with rain water and you have to mop it all up. I removed 40 cups of water from the screened room floor after one rain period.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kimmi59 from Unbelievably easy and quick to erect I am on my own and found the tent so easy to erect. It really does go up in seconds but of course takes a bit longer to make it secure. The dark fabric definitely helps with the heat and early morning sun not waking you up too early

Rated 5 out of 5 by NismoZXT from Great for car camping for 3 I bought this for my two young sons and I to go camping with our Trail Life troop. It fits the three of us quite well with most of our stuff in the tent and water proof stuff out in the "screen room". In a pinch we can fit three adult camp chairs in the screen room for a bug free meal. I would be able to have more space in the tent if I packed more efficiently or left some stuff in the car, but I do not have a need to when it is just the 3 of us. We had a few rain showers on our recent camping trip and the boys were able to stand in the screen room against the tent without getting rained on (subject to the direction the rain is falling). No rain came through the seams or zippers, and the screen room's mesh strip in the floor allowed the rain to drain out with just very minor pooling. It is GREAT to have a "mud room" that is screened off from the bugs where you can take off your shoes before getting into the tent itself. I suggest putting a towel just inside the tent flap to store the shoes after stepping out of them in the screen room. The dark room fly absolutely keep the tent cooler than the outside, especially if you are not fortunate enough to have shade from trees. I was able to take an early afternoon nap without a problem thanks to the dark room fly. Cross ventilation is okay, but having 1 whole side that is a screen under the fly makes it a little hard to control the airflow. The tent is very easy to set up and break down. I am able to do it by myself if necessary with little trouble. I'm 6'1" and can stand at full height in the middle of tent. I have received many comments on having the screen room and how great it is. If Coleman makes a 10 person dark room with a screen room, I will purchase it in a heart beat. The photos don't show the darkness well because of auto white balancing, but it is considerably darker with the fly.
