Poor quality. Not like previous versions. Avoid.
I had an older version of this tent that I loved. I recently bought this one thinking it would be the same quality. Boy I was mistaken. The quality of this tent has gone way down. Very disappointed in Coleman. The hooks of the tent are now cheap plastic. The floor tarp already seems to have gotten a tiny hole in one use. I repeat in one use and not used on a very rocky terrain. The tents bag...so cheap...What happened.Sooo disappointed. Coleman focus on quality!!! Im very sad. I loved the previous version that I had bought a few years ago.

Perfect tent
This is my third Coleman tent of this design over 50 years of camping. I went from a 4-person tent to a 6-person tent the second time and loved the fact that my family of four could all fit in and that my husband and I can stand up in it. Now that I am a "senior" camper, it has become a 2-person tent with two big cots and plenty of space to stow stuff away. We've stayed dry in this tent even in some pretty heavy rains and it's simple to set up and take down. I love this tent.

4-person Sundome tent
My tent is the smaller version of the 6-person tent. I like the layout and size. It is easy to pitch. The rain tarp is very easy to quickly pitch, as well, should rain arrive suddenly. I think the zipper to the door could be more robust. I wish the door could be unzipped to a fully-screened door. Half-screen at this time. A story for you. The other day, I heard rumbling outside the tent at dusk. Where I camp its best to be in the tent by that time. The rain tarp was on. I got to my knees and looked out the door-screen. Two moose glided by, a calf and a cow. Then, the huge surprise, a third bull-moose followed up. He ducked under the rain tarp, peering into the tent door. We were nose-to-nose and eye-to-eye. Frightened, he fell backward and nearly rolled over before darting away. What an experience.

Hard for one person to set up
I spent hour and a half trying to set this up and couldn't do it. I called a 23 yr old friend over and he set it up in 20 minutes. So if your a little older or a bit handicapped buy another tent. I wish I'd checked out the Instant cabin tents. Because of knee surgery I can't get on my knees and need one I can walk into. I haven't even used it yet but will try again this summer. I'm having a 20 something over to "teach" me how to do this.

can't withstand wind
I got exactly one night of use out of this tent before a gust of wind (maybe 20mph) snapped BOTH poles. They say it is wind tested up to 35mph. There is no way that is true.

Poor quality and it will not be durable
I have an older Coleman Instant tent and really love it. I camp between 10-20 times a year and it's been with me for 5 years. Great tent.
This instant tent is not worth it. It is not durable and poles are going to be a problem. I am going back to buy the older tent style.

Everything a camper needs
Tent stands up to bad weather (rain, wind) and is very easy to pitch and break down. Folds up to a very manageable size. A true value in the camping world
