Rated 1 out of 5 by Fletcher from This cooler does not perform as advertized. This cooler is advertised to keep ice for 5 days in temperatures of 90 degrees. I have used it twice and it failed to do so both times. The first time I used it I put 26 pounds of ice in it and did not open it for 2 days. When I did open it all of the ice had melted. The second time I used it I put 9 pounds of ice in it at 5 oclock in the afternoon and at 11 oclock the next day all the ice had melted. I paid a premium price for this cooler because of the claim that it would keep ice for 5 days. It failed miserably.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MamaBurk from Exceeded Expectations! Low price- Great value! Needed a larger cooler for a spur of the moment trip. With no time to research, I raced to my local Walmart and bought the largest cooler I could find, a Coleman 62 quart Xtreme 5 Cooler, touting it could keep ice up to 5 days at temps up to 90 degrees. Even tho I was only gone for 4 days, I can truly attest that it did live up to the hype and still had ice after 4 days of use. The cooler also had a well designed drain plug so all the water could drain out without having to physically tip the cooler over to remove the remaining water. Thank you Coleman for making me a believer that value can exceed price!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Michael P from Very Disappointed We specifically bought this Coleman (our 3rd Coleman cooler) because it advertised that it kept ice frozen for 5 days. We made an effort to make sure our kids were careful about fulling closing the cooler, etc and then went on our first camping trip. Sadly the ice didn't make it one day. Not sure why but overall very disappointed. Looking at other options now.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JenC from This is my second Coleman The tin pin and wheel popped off. Seems to be a regular occurrence with these based off other reviews. Any reconditions how to get new parts?

Rated 4 out of 5 by nickgbp from Affordable. This thing holds ice as expected, memorial weekend 2018 in the mid west was 90 degrees + all weekend and it did great. I would of given 5 stars, but the little tin retainer that keeps the wheel on the axle popped off in the grass and the wheel fell off first time out, not a deal breaker.

Rated 1 out of 5 by angry customer from don't waste your money This thing is a cheap piece of garbage. We used it once-- literally, once!-- and the screws holding one of the hinges onto cooler itself tore out. There was no fixing it by putting on new screws, because the holes for the screws are completely bald. I rated everything about this product as poor, because-- even though certain things are handy, like the spigot to let out water and the durable plastic build-- without the ability to reliably open and close the thing, that means nothing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jimmi from Great Cooler but wheel popped off I bought this cooler last year in late summer. Used it twice, cleaned it, stored it. It does exactly what it says it will do and that is keep stuff cool up to five days.Took it out this weekend and it did great until the pin holding the wheel popped off causing the wheel to fall off. Unfortunately, couldn't find the pin in the dirt.
