Rated 3 out of 5 by Insert Random Name from Why does rain get in my cooler? Wife bought this for me for fathers day bout 4-5 years ago. It keeps well, works for all our picnics, and parties, and weekends when I'm working outside for Gatorade, etc. One issue that I've dealt with though, causing me to clean it, every time I need to use it. I store this outside on my deck, whenever I come to use it, always has several inches of rainwater standing in it. Any ideas on how to stop that? Really it's a minor issue, as I'd clean it between uses anyways, but I am curious on why it's happening. Clearly wicking is more powerful than I thought. Perhaps I could put some weather stripping under the lid to seal it better.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Hmmmm? from Rain Bucket Bonus! Rain POORS in. Not a few drops; like you left the lid open. Also: ends of lid outbound of hinges warped upward after 3 days in sun. Like a smiley face now. Great Fun! Glad this feature is included in the new line-up, replacing those dividers/cutting boards and trays that USED to come with coleman coolers. I, like others, will happily give up these useful features for such a happy looking cooler. And we all will buy this brand again, i'm sure! (Btw: $30 in weatherstripping later and still collecting rainwater: added value! Happy happy happy). Thank you coleman.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Poorpresent from Terrible quality Didn't even have this for a full day before it was broken. Bought this for father's day and the screws ripped out of the back of the cooler. Such a waste of money and a disappointing father's day present.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Toph from Hinge screws came out after < 10 uses Bought this last year at Walmart....we used it 3 or 4 times last year and 5 times this year. Screws for right hinge came out last time. Cooler looks like new. I called Customer Service and we determined that it was still within the warranty date, they are sending a new one...wow! She said it didn't seem to be a common problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BobnRobin from Great value and has real stainless steel hinges! Couldn't justify spending hundreds on a cooler. The Xtreme series works well for our weekend getaways. Well built. Great value. Stainless steel hinges. Built in cup holders. Ruler for measuring catch.

Rated 1 out of 5 by bayhawk from DON'T USE FOR STORAGE Cooler came with new boat. Boat has plenty of storage since it's under my leaning post I used it for my flare gun kit and binocular storage. Big mistake both items are now useless rain put 4 inches of water in this cooler in three weeks. Never tried it for ice but if it can't keep rain out how can it keep cold in.
