Now that's one tough flashlight!
I grew tired of plastic flashlights that wear out after a year. This Battery Guard flashlight is made of metal and it looks and feels very rugged. Now to keep the kids from hijacking it from me on our next camping trip!

Great brightness but short life
We bought 2 of these for emergency use during storms or if we need to see in dark places. They worked great in the beginning. After 1 1/2 years one of the flashlights was working great and then quickly went dim. I just tried two different sets of quality batteries but no light is being emitted. Unfortunately I can't find the receipt, just the warranty.

Trustworthy and the two light modes come in handy
This flashlight gets used at home and while camping often. It is good quality; battery life is long, the light intensity of the two modes are just right for me, there is no flickering of the light beam and I've been using it regularly for over a year. I do question the "battery guard" technology. The switch on any flashlight is either open or closed. When open, the circuit is broken and no current flows. When closed, the light shines. That's what switches do.

Tough and Bright
I bought this flashlight to try it out. I have used it around the house and for walking my dogs in the evening. It is very durable and extra bright. I live in the country and it gets very dark in the evening. This light is a beacon in the dark. I liked it so much, I bought three more for Christmas gifts/ stocking stuffers.

Good, rugged LED flashlight.
This line of Coleman flashlights are really good. Simple switch operated, hi and low output, and no annoying "87 different flashing modes!" to deal with.
