Rated 1 out of 5 by from Impossible assembly We just ordered 2 of these cots. They look sturdy. Stitching is even and solid. However, we can not get the end bar pulled into place. Several people have tried to help and it is simply not possible, no matter how strong. Is there a secret we are missing? Would love to use them, but can not get them together.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fabric ripped after only using it twice! Says it has a 300# capacity but I only weigh 180? I always take care of my equipment and expect a cot that costs $50+ would not leave me on the ground. Frame seems sturdy but useless without the cot. Hoping Colman will replace?!?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Garbage Do Not Buy. Ripped on night 4. 185 lbs. I used this cot twice for weekend camping and it ripped at the seems on night 4. Then coleman turned the warranty repair/replace into a nightmare.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleep Well on This Cot! After reading many reviews from multiple sites, purchased this cot. Only hesitation was reports of difficult assembly. First setup took some muscle and leverage to get tension bars at head and foot locked in. After the initial stretch, assembly was easier and took considerably less effort. You must be mindful that it a saggy cot is uncomfortable, so the tension is important. Solid cot with great support provided good rest. Easier to get up from the ground, and more reliable than an airbed. Frame and materials are sturdy. Folding design and leg configuration make sense. Plastic feet have rounded edges that didn't tear-up or scuff tent floor. Fits back in durable, handled storage bag well. I expect to use for many years of camping adventures, and maybe for houseguests instead of couch!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fabric tore off at the stitches/seam Bought it from Amazon. Fabric tore off at the stitches/seam with in 2/3 times of using. Bad design and build quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality The fabric ripped after only a few uses. The endcap are ceapn snd fall out making it impossible to assemble. Junk, waste if money

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didn’t last Had this cot just over a year and the fabric along the rail ripped at the seam. My son used it maybe 5-6 times for scouts.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great price and quality product Bought two of these. Super comfortable. The only downfall is crossbar at the end is hard to get in place, but if two 10 year old Girl Scouts could put one together my coleader and I were definitely going to get ours together.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Affordable but don't expect a long life. Bought this cot to use car camping. Not off to a real good start. Instructions attached to storage bag mostly useless. Cot unfolds easily and it becomes obvious very early on that the main thing providing structural rigidity are the two cross bars which go at each end. The first was fairly easy to attach to both side bars. At that point the material comes up about an inch to two inches short and does not want to stretch to allow the second cross bar to be attached. I finally got it together by using a "big" screw driver as a pry bar. The tension on the side rails is obvious. They are both slightly bent due to the stress. Also, the end caps, which have protrusions to snap the cross bars onto, are plastic suggesting that the stress I see now will probably cause them to fail real soon. I have one week before I will use, or attempt to use this product. I now have the assembly outside in the heat (I live in Tucson, AZ. 100 degrees today) to see if the cloth will stretch out enough to make realistic assembly possible. If not, I will be discussing the issue with Coleman customer service.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It Looks Like a Good Cot I chose this cot because of its size. It was impossible to attach the stretcher bars at the ends. I had to use a piece of 2"X2"X18" pine as a pry bar and it snapped together. One of the seam was missing stitching for about 6 inches (miss-sewn at the factory). The draw string on the carry bag was sewn to the pocket around the end of the bag so it would not cinch! Could not collapse the cot using the longer portion of the square end bar. Had to use the wood stick.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Sturdy Cot This is a great cot, very sturdy and well made. We have used it a handful of time and have had a great experience with it. The end bar can be tough to get into place but if you push against the leg with your foot and pull the bar in the opposite direction it's not too hard. Additionally, because the bar is tough to get in it keeps the canvas tight so it doesn't sag when using it. Ultimately, this is a great cot.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Affordable and met our needs Purchased in December 2018 - received ahead of schedule, was affordably priced and as comfortable as you would expect a cot to be. I (40 year old female), and my 13 year old son, could not put the cot together (not strong enough to pull the end bars down over the latch), but my husband was able to do so. Hopefully it will get easier to do over time after we use the cots a few more times.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well built and supportive. This is an awesome cot. View the YouTube video on getting the last cross bar in and you will never have struggles. It is supportive and very well built.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Would have liked to give it 5 stars We like this product and enjoy it camping, the problem is that it is impossible to get replacement parts so we can continue to use it... As several have mentioned it is hard to get the end crossbars in place, over the weekend one of the small plastic bits the crossbar fits into broke. We contacted the customer chat online at Coleman and were told there are no replacement parts for this product. The canvas and metal parts are all in great working order, but the plastic bits that have broken off are an issue in its continued comfortable use. Either make all the pieces more durable or offer replacement pieces, I don't mind paying for replacement bits at a reasonable price, but its better than every time I use the cot to have a bad taste in my mouth because it can not be used properly any longer. So I am left to find a work around and the feeling that Coleman would rather I buy a new one than to fix the one I currently own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good cot. Works as expected. I bought it while it was on sale, good value for the sale price. Using for tent camping. The size is just right. A little heavy, but sturdy and easy to set up, once you know how. You do have to set the unit on its end and hold it down with your foot while pulling the other end bar into place with your hand. I'm using an air pad on top of it for cushioning.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Affordable but impossible to fully assemble Not an expensive cot, but after three camping trips, we have yet to be able to get it fully assembled. It is not possible to stretch the canvas far enough to get the last corner attached. I am 6 foot 4 and 300 pounds of former college football player. If I can’t do it, no one can. Too late to return it for a refund. Not happy with this product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not durable. I go on 2 camping trips a year and purchased this Cot for them in the fall of '17. This past weekend 6/21 the Cot has failed. It was a very sturdy cot until the seams decided to separate. With a 1 year warranty for the Cot and minimal use I suggest not buying this one. Further research on the Cot has confirmed this issue for it. 220 LB

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Solution! I used to use an air mattress in my tent, but it was always a hassle to inflate it and it normally needed reinflated multiple times during the trip, not to mention not much support. Then I bought this cot, it's a perfect solution to my previous problems. Solid and well made and plenty of room even for us bigger guys.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fine until it rips Fine and sturdy, but like others said happen, after using for a while (I weigh 190) the canvas began to RIP down the side. If you purchase this, lie absolutely stil, do not dit up in it or in and do not concentrate your weight in any one area, even when getting on it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hinge Rivet Broke Off Hinge rivet broke off after 1st time used. Not sure if there's a repair solution. It's a shame because the cot is comfortable, but it should not have broken after 1st time used. Also, I'm well under the weight capacity and did not abuse the product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Failed after 1 night The fabric another the seam ripped after 1 night. I'm under the 300lbs limit. Also the seam on the other side is starting to go. It's cheap nylon fabric. Now I'm going to have to pay for new fabric probably canvas. Only pro is the frame is sturdy

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solidly built, perfect size I'll be retiring next year, taking several months off for an extended camping trip, and am at the age (almost 62) where rolling off an air mattress every morning doesn't really appeal to me anymore. I'll be doing a bit of modding to this cot for my specific needs, but basically it's the best bang for the buck I've found. Note: The end bars stick out one side a couple of inches more than the other, so using the longer side makes attaching easier. The first end goes in easy anyway...the second takes a little effort. I did it sitting down facing the corner, grabbing the end bar with my right hand and the top corner at the leg with my left and pulling them apart until it snapped into place. Assembled in like five minutes. I'd do a video on it but I can't be bothered. It will take up no more space in my 8' x 12' tent than my air mattress did, plus I'll have room for additional storage underneath. Is it heavy? Sure it is...steel is real. But not too heavy as to be burdensome. I discovered a neat little trick in folding the material that makes it so much easier to put back in the carry case, too, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who does it. Anyway, for 40 bucks, this cot should make a pretty good platform onto which I can make a fair decent bed for my upcoming adventures.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cross bar nightmare. Cot is comfortable. I gave it 3 stars because the cross bars are almost impossible to get in. The fabric really doesn't need to be that tight. I had to use a prybar to install the second one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well Used this for longterm bedding situation. Very comfortable. Recommend people who are unfamiliar with setting up a cot watch a video on how to get that second pole in.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It looks great and sturdy at first! After several use the fabric ripped. This thing should be rated for 150 lbs instead of 300 lbs. It was use by my teenage daughter (15 yrs) and her friend.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not a quality cot We purchased two cots for my boys who are under 13. one cot ripped at the stitching. I couldn’t believe it. It’s literally not quality material.
