Rated 5 out of 5 by RandyP from Compact and easy to use I've often wanted one of those fancy camp stove/oven combos. Then I saw Coleman's camp oven that folds flat and compact and uses your existing stove. For our maiden voyage with the camp stove, I whipped up some Mediterranean Stuffed Bell Peppers, a fancy meal for being out in the 'wilderness'. How it went: The whole thing is metal and as common sense would tell you, the outside get's hot. I thought the door knob would be hot too, fumbled with turning it using pot-holders, then found out it's not hot. Adjusting your desired temp is all controlled by your stove flame. I did not find it difficult to adjust to the 400 degrees I needed. I slightly over cooked my first pan, the bottom a bit over-done. Second pan came out great. Learning how to use it... My takeaways is it's compact and light, and allows us to easily "bake", warm, etc. The photos made me feel I was making a Coleman commercial!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by tdog7866 from Just like old times I remember my grandpa having an oven like this in the 70's and he would make conrbread and biscuts when we were camping. This oven is almost exactaly like his and I have made biscuts in it so far and they are amazing. I am very pleased with this oven.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sandra K from Very useful piece of kit We have been using our camp oven for years. It is a very useful piece of kit, and we have made many dishes in it. However, when you lift the oven by it's top handle, the tabs of the folding sides tend to come out of the slots. This allows the sides to bow out very slightly, which in turn is enough to let the grills fall out of the slots. This is a pain when making pre-baked buns, but it can be worse when one's dinner is in the oven. I read somewhere that one individual puts paperclips through the protruding parts of the grill(s), to prevent them from falling down. I took a more rigorous action, and drilled holes in the top and bottom on both sides, so I can lock them in place with screws. The grills do not have the slightest tendency to fall down now. If Coleman designed a slightly better locking system for the oven, I couldn't be happier with it. (As it is, I am also very happy with it! :-) The oven is extremely useful, relatively cheap, rugged and folds down to a small package. I definitely recommend it to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Keltyfan from A Classic Design that still fits the bill I used one of these that I inherited from my Grandfather for many family camping trips. I remember him and his two burner Coleman stove with that oven from our camping trips in the 1950's and 60's. It gave great service to my entire family until my son-in-law backed over it several years ago. I immediately bought this replacement to use with my Coleman #428 three burner dual fuel stove, and it is identical to it's predecessor in quality and convenience. Nothing like fresh baked biscuits, cinnamon rolls, corn bread, cookies, pies, and even pizza while car camping to keep my grand-kid's loving the outdoors even though I ban all of their electronics from our trips.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Geriatricsailer from Classic, Coleman lore, heavy How fun just to have. How fun to do some baking while camping! Most people don't even bake at home! It's an illness that I have to have all of these great Coleman classics. I probably will use this mainly as a bread box at a cabin, if I ever get one. Might use it to bake, but love my Dutch oven and cooking with hot and quiet coals. Would be less to bring and more simple. Both are car camping; heavy. Several reviews of successful baking. Love the origami like assembly. Very clever.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kidcamper from Affordable and Easy to Use I purchased this oven primarily because it was on sale. I am a big camper and just thought it would be fun to use. Did a product test run, cooking a small pizza, corn bread and apple muffins. The oven heated up nicely, and baked rather efficiently. The corn bread and the muffins cooked up fast even at the recommended tempatures, so I highly advice to use your own judgement regarding cooking tempatures and length of bake time.
