Enjoy the campsite sunrise the right way—with a cup of fresh coffee from the Coleman® Camping Coffeemaker. The steel base fits over most camp stove burners. Just pour enough water for up to 10 cups of coffee into the easy-fill reservoir. Once it starts to boil, the water will move through the filter and brew itself into the glass decanter. For campers who just can’t wait for the entire pot to brew before pouring that first cup, the Pause ‘N Serve feature lets you do just that without the mess.
• Set over a camp stove for drip-brewed coffee
• Steel base fits on most traditional 2 or 3-burner camp stoves
• Reservoir with large opening for easy filling

• Removable swing-out basket fits 8-12 cup filters
• Pause and serve feature allows you to pour a cup during brewing without the mess

Rated 4 out of 5 by Stubby from Slow at high altitude but otherwise good We have been using 2 of these in mammoth lakes altitude 9000ft for years. They need cleaning out regularly to keep at steady flow other wise the serve the purpose

It makes great coffee, and it does take a while to do it at 8,800 feet in altitude. It started to take even longer over time. That's when we noticed that the aluminum base plate had begun to warp. That plate is what acts as a heat shield/diffuser for the water tube underneath. To repair: turn it upside down (yes wait till it's cool) and remove the 10 screws. Take the base plate/heat diffuser off and lay it on something sorta soft (I use the wood deck outside). Then grab your trusty rubber mallet and make it all nice and flat again. Speeds up the coffee time appreciably. Just make sure to put it back the same way it came off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tinkertom from No problem I have had 2 of these for about 12 yrs maybe longer. Use at deer camp and when I go racing never a problem. I also leave heat on very low when perked to help coffee stay hot longer. Never had any problems.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that you can't use it to keep the coffee hot after it has finished brewing. I wish Coleman made a carry case for it, as the box it came in is about wore out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Buff51 from Excellent coffee! I've used this camping on a Coleman two burner stove and it makes excellent coffee. So much better than instant and really makes a difference on those chilly mornings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rfun from LOVE this coffeemaker!! Bought this for our camp trailer & have used it for 3 years to replace a camping perk coffee pot. I've used it on both the trailer stove & a 2-burner camp stove outside. It produced great coffee on both! It doesn't boil over like my perking pot did. It needs to be cooked on high heat to take the least time. Word of warning though, the coffee is hotter than a household drip coffeemaker so if you pour it into an insulated travel mug or thermos it will be burn-your-mouth hot for quite awhile. I happen to love this aspect of it since I can cool my coffee easier than I can reheat it. I also leave it on very low if I'm not using a thermos or travel mug. I have cleaned it with vinegar as per instructions & it did improve the coffee flavor & removed water mineral build up. We use it a lot during camping season & it gets stored over the winter in the trailer. As for durability, it has taken a tumble out of the cabinet (rough roads) & only sustained a dent in the metal casing. We were lucky it landed how it did & we secure it better now but it still works like new. The filter part & water reservoir are heat-resistant plastic of some sort but we've never had any issues with it.
