Rated 4 out of 5 by ED63028 from Loved it until it rained! This tent was a replacement for another tent that I had purchased a few years earlier which the screens were starting to tear and just falling apart.. Like my new tent just like the first owned for about a year and had used about 2 times.. the third camping trip was a all weekend rain and poured heavy a couple of times. I never had this happen in a tent in 70 degree weather. the entire interior of the tent developed all these small droplets all over the inside of the tent and it started to rain inside the tent. Like they didn't waterproof the tent at the factory. It was a messy very wet weekend and had to sleep on damp to wet bedding the second night.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Popsh from Easy to set up, but damp I have used this tent on several occasions now, and overall, it's performed as expected. The tent is light, and sets up quickly. Also, the center loop has proven useful for hanging a light, and the two inside pockets are nice for keeping track of eye glasses and phones. However, it doesn't take much rain to make it leak; a heavy dew will do, so a rain fly is highly recommended. (Makes me wonder what Coleman's touted "Weather Tec" involves?) The tent is fairly roomy for standing, and four people (including one child) fit ok for sleeping, but six people would have to be really friendly to sleep inside.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jerry48209 from Horrible, horrible, horrible 2nd time I used it, the hub broke. Coleman didn't stock the part anymore. I will never again buy anything that says "Coleman" and is associated with camping. This thing is cheaply made, overprice junk. Junk, junk, junk.

Rated 3 out of 5 by NCT hikers from So convenient! The convenience of this tent is great! No more fighting when setting up!! We like this because we can stand up to get dressed and move around. It fits our queen mattress with just enough space to move around and put our gear on the edges. I would say it is not for more than 3 people. After one year the main zipper failed and I have tried twice to sew it but it doesn’t work even with heavy duty thread! I would buy again if zipper was improved!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Reviewer from Easy Set-Up but BYO Stakes! I bought this tent after reading numerous online reviews, which helped to illustrate what kind of a product I was getting, how it should be cared for, and what additional items that I'd have to buy in order to use this tent properly--from coating the exterior in waterproof camp spray to having adequate-size tarps underneath. First and foremost, be sure to read the instructions! One way to avoid damaging the tent is by knowing what to do and what to look out for, particularly where the poles and zippers are concerned. Use the tent with care--pay attention to any areas of pulling or resistance, and don't force anything to move in a direction that it refuses to. The Coleman 6-Person tent is actually a very good two- or three-person tent, if you want to have some space left inside to move around; even six small children would be difficult to fit into this tent to have it live up to its name. It is an excellent tent for light camping and backyard set-ups... just don't expect it to be highly weather-resistant when the wind and the cold set in. I had to purchase the rainfly separately; it has to be said that this add-on really does its job (particularly when waterproofed) and is an important part of the tent design, so don't skimp on that and not buy it. One thing to keep in mind is that you will do a lot better with this product if you buy solid, old-fashioned metal Army stakes rather than rely on the enclosed plastic or small metal ones. In doing so, I not only achieved a solid tie-down, but I was able to attach both the tent and rainfly ropes to the larger metal stakes. This helps to minimize the amount of damage that you might encounter on windy days.
