Description
The Coleman® Tent Pole Repair Kit is designed to replace a damaged individual pole section within a fiberglass pole. It is NOT designed to replace a whole fiberglass pole. To replace a whole fiberglass pole, please use the Coleman® Tent Pole Replacement Kit instead. IMPORTANT: The pole sections in the replacement kit may need to be cut to match the length of the broken pole section on your specific tent. Refer to the manual for detailed instructions on how to use the replacement kit.

  • PACKAGE CONTENTS: Instruction manual, 5 hollow fiberglass pole sections of various lengths, 2 plastic end tips, 2 metal end tips, 2 metal ferrules, 1 needle for threading elastic cord, 1 elastic cord

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You can do this-with youtube help! I was able to fix my broken tent pole with this kit. I didn't feel confident about the kit from the reviews However, I watched a few youtube videos and found one that was very clear and detailed. With the help of the video I was able to put this together myself. I think my husband and I were both surprised I did it by myself. (I typically don't do these types of things ;) ) I even tested the pole strength by setting up the tent after I had replaced the pole. We will know for sure next Summer when we go camping. So this all being said, If you have to purchase this kit it's helpful to watch a few videos before attempting to replace the pole, but if I did it, you can too!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Kit was great but the wrong size. The pole kit was great. The pole kit was the wrong size for my tent. The Coleman site does not have the ability to identify pole size for a particular tent.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Are these poles replaceable? I can't find away to replace the attached tent poles. Not sure what im supposed to do with the replacemwnt poles without any instructions. I have searched the internet and inquired through customer service with out success.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dissatisfied with Coleman tent pole repair kit. I purchased this kit on the recommendation of support staff after explaining I needed to replace the poles on a Sundome 10x10 tent, part no. 9160A102 and 103. The repair kit received only contained 5 pole sections, which were a different diameter from the original poles. It also only include 2 ferrules to connect 5 pole sections. The kit said "To replace a whole fiberglass pole, please use the Coleman Tent Pole Replacement kit instead", which is what I told the support staff I needed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Availability for repair parts Difficult to know correct pole size - the website makes you choose pole diameter, there was only one size available. Having the correct model of tent is not enough, also I only needed one of the curved metal pieces, but you cannot buy them separately or at all. I ended up using a piece of one of the poles to bridge the broken one. A friend of mine made a replacement metal connector. Great tent but repair parts availability is poor.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from 3 Complaints 1. Even though poles of different lengths were included, none matched the pole I was replacing. Thankfully I had a friend with the right tool because otherwise these are not easy to cut. 2. The threading needle was useless but it's possible to just push the cord manually through the poles. 3. Customers shouldn't have to pay for shipping when a pole breaks, even outside the 1-year warranty period.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fiberglass Tent Pole Repair Kit, 9.5 mm This kit was not the kit I was told I'd receive. I had to replace a long pole that holds up my tent. I had to repurpose most of the old pole in order to jerry rig a new long pole, and the metal parts that fit over the corner pegs barely fit onto the pegs. I am nomadic and my tent is my home. I wish your company would do better. I love my tent and I should be able to get the right parts to maintain it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tent pole replacement I have the part number for replacement poles for my tent. I ordered this kit because it said it fit my tent. I received it and - it does not fit my tent. Poor customer service - I called Coleman and was told that my tent was only sold in the UK (even though I bought it at Big-5 here in the uUS.
