Coleman® Quad™ LED Lantern
Take the convenience of four lights in one when you have the Coleman® Quad® 190L LED Lantern. Together the lantern shines 190 lumens for up to 75 hours. When you need to take some light with you without taking the whole lantern, simply pop one of the light panels off the base to use as a personal light. Each panel has its own controls and handle to make lighting up a second area easy. The panels will recharge once they're back on the base. LEDs last a lifetime, so they never need replacing, and they run cool so the lantern is always safe to touch, even when it’s been on for hours.
• 4 removable light panels recharge on base
• Perfect for when you need light in more than one place
• Easy-carry handle on the lantern and each panel
• On/Off button on base and each panel

Rated 5 out of 5 by Campergirl from Love this lantern This is a great lantern, we have had it for four years or so. We do remove the 8 D batteries when we store it, and keep them near the lantern so we are prepared if we need them. Also, after a few years, the rechargeable batteries in each of the quads will need to be replaced so that the individual lanterns can be recharged again. Our lantern stopped working individually each quad, but worked as a main lantern. When I took it apart to see what might be the problem, I noticed each quad has 3 rechargeable AAA cells in them, held in place by a small latch with a small screw. From personal experience, I know these rechargeable AAA only last for a few years before they die, and so replacing them brings the lantern back up to full quad use. This is not mentioned in the manual. I found some great rechargeables online on amazon. Hope this helps.

Rated 1 out of 5 by puttputt1953 from NO PLACEMENT PARTS in less than 2 years of a 3 year warranty corrosion eats away 4 of the 8 battery springs, with no evidence of corrosion being caused by batteries, warranty is voided and you cannot even purchase replacement parts as they( Coleman) don't make them, leaving me a grand total of $ 94.32 a useless piece of trash. And yes I did call your(Coleman) warranty service and that was pretty much what I was told. So after years of buying Coleman products, those days are done.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jenna2007 from Love it The deal was good so made the purchase. My husband was impressed and I love it. Ea light, and there are 4, can be used individually if one has to be used elsewhere you still have 3 in port. The light is bright so very useful. I only wish the lighting could have solar and hand cranked energy sources, d batts are cumbersome to have to carry around as it takes 8 of them to operate. It also takes smaller rechargeable batts for ea individual lamp. I haven’t had to use it yet so I do not know how long lasting the light is or how durable it will be. I am hoping that because it carries the Coleman name it will have the quality they used to be known for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Macy from A "lifesaver" for us! Living in Florida we are prone to hurricanes so it is essential to be prepared. Our Coleman Quad LED Lantern was the only light we needed after hurricane Irma left us without electricity for 6 days. With the four mini lanterns, if one of us had to go into a different room we would just take one of the lights with us. As the packaging says, please remove the batteries when not in use. I ruined our first lantern by leaving them in.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Pat and Frank from Failed us during 2 emergency situations! Had 8 NEW D and the rechargable installed - left it in closet for about 6 months - power went out - Surprise - our handy helpful lantern had all dead batteries. So bought more D and rechargable, and replaced all at same time. A few months later, camping in very dark area - heard noises outside - grabbed this wonderful expensive lantern - again, dead batteries. Spending more in batteries than for the lantern. Defeats the purpose of an emergency lantern if you have to keep the batteries separate all the time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by kathyt from Good concept but question update on power source Bought this for my spouse as he loaned last one to son who never returned it. Good concept that you can pull of one of the four lights and lighting is great for both people. Dissapointed to find that it requires D batteries that are not rechargeable. The panel lights are led and great and rechargeable. D Batteries are expensive. All in all it is very useful when camping. I think it is overpriced if you are paying full price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Seeker from Great emergency item for the home..... After the recent storms, I purchased this very versatile and handy LED lantern to be prepared in the event of another power outage. Not only does it provide very bright illumination, but the 4 detachable LED lights it has can be used like individual flashlights and then can be re-attached to the main light remaining fully lit all the time when on and off the lantern. Highly recommend owning one!

Rated 4 out of 5 by huh? from Electricity out I didn't answer this because I'd bought the lamp to carry us through a 14 hour blackout conducted by the electrical company for repairs, and that didn't take place till two days ago. It worked wonderfully providing a lot of light. Much more than my old Coleman. My wife used one of the pull-out sections to read. I wish the whole lamp was rechargeable.
