Rated 5 out of 5 by Mom2girls from Great price Comparable to my much more expensive Cabella cot. Side bar extremely difficult to get into place until I watch a you tube video. The trick was to stand the cot on the side and use your foot for leverage, after watching video my 13yo daughter could put it together by herself easy peasy. Comfortable with no icky middle bar in your back

Rated 5 out of 5 by wabisabi from Sleep Well on This Cot! After reading many reviews from multiple sites, purchased this cot. Only hesitation was reports of difficult assembly. First setup took some muscle and leverage to get tension bars at head and foot locked in. After the initial stretch, assembly was easier and took considerably less effort. You must be mindful that it a saggy cot is uncomfortable, so the tension is important. Solid cot with great support provided good rest. Easier to get up from the ground, and more reliable than an airbed. Frame and materials are sturdy. Folding design and leg configuration make sense. Plastic feet have rounded edges that didn't tear-up or scuff tent floor. Fits back in durable, handled storage bag well. I expect to use for many years of camping adventures, and maybe for houseguests instead of couch!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anntta from Great price and quality product Bought two of these. Super comfortable. The only downfall is crossbar at the end is hard to get in place, but if two 10 year old Girl Scouts could put one together my coleader and I were definitely going to get ours together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Scott AZ from Awesome Sturdy Cot This is a great cot, very sturdy and well made. We have used it a handful of time and have had a great experience with it. The end bar can be tough to get into place but if you push against the leg with your foot and pull the bar in the opposite direction it's not too hard. Additionally, because the bar is tough to get in it keeps the canvas tight so it doesn't sag when using it. Ultimately, this is a great cot.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed in IA from Impossible assembly We just ordered 2 of these cots. They look sturdy. Stitching is even and solid. However, we can not get the end bar pulled into place. Several people have tried to help and it is simply not possible, no matter how strong. Is there a secret we are missing? Would love to use them, but can not get them together.

Rated 4 out of 5 by DaveNAustin from Solidly built, perfect size I'll be retiring next year, taking several months off for an extended camping trip, and am at the age (almost 62) where rolling off an air mattress every morning doesn't really appeal to me anymore. I'll be doing a bit of modding to this cot for my specific needs, but basically it's the best bang for the buck I've found. Note: The end bars stick out one side a couple of inches more than the other, so using the longer side makes attaching easier. The first end goes in easy anyway...the second takes a little effort. I did it sitting down facing the corner, grabbing the end bar with my right hand and the top corner at the leg with my left and pulling them apart until it snapped into place. Assembled in like five minutes. I'd do a video on it but I can't be bothered. It will take up no more space in my 8' x 12' tent than my air mattress did, plus I'll have room for additional storage underneath. Is it heavy? Sure it is...steel is real. But not too heavy as to be burdensome. I discovered a neat little trick in folding the material that makes it so much easier to put back in the carry case, too, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who does it. Anyway, for 40 bucks, this cot should make a pretty good platform onto which I can make a fair decent bed for my upcoming adventures.
