Rated 4 out of 5 by CRay from Almost Perfect But Still a Camping Must-have After buying these in February 2017 and using them on a few different camping trips last season, I can share my firsthand pros and cons of Coleman's waterproof playing cards. On the plus side, these cards are made of heavy-weight plastic and seem less affected by the wind than the regular decks I've used. While normal card decks are more or less waterproof when new, older, used decks grow more permeable to moisture, whether rain or just humidity, over time; that will never be the case with these cards with their solid-plastic composition. I worried it would be difficult to shuffle this deck, but after a few hands, they shuffle just as easily as a regular deck, once the surfaces of the cards are handled a bit. Finally, these cards just look cool, with their funky clear centers and colorful Coleman-logo backs. The plastic storage case is a nice touch, too, and very durable. On the con side, I agree with the previous reviewer who noted that separating the number and suit (because of the design, I assume) makes looking at your hand awkward and clumsy. Instead of just fanning them out and checking the upper corner, I find that I actually spread the cards out in my hand to reveal one whole side of each card, so I can see the number/suit at the top/bottom. (I have large hands, however, so this might not be easy for others.) Plus, we usually play cribbage so six cards isn't very difficult to handle. (Since I don't use these other than when camping, I don't find this issue highly tedious.) Also, the cards sort of stick to each other when new, so they don't fan as easily in your hand at first. But, as mentioned above, they "loosen up" after a few hands. Overall, and despite its few shortcomings, I love this deck and highly recommend adding it to your camping gear!

Rated 3 out of 5 by jeremy from Symbol and character misalignment These cards were almost great. Durable and waterproof as advertised. However take not that the symbols are in the opposite corners as the letters. This leads to having to shuffle your hand around a bit every time you need to verify heart or diamond, spade or club. It doesn't sound like much, but gets annoying quick. All they need to do is put the symbol next to the character like almost every other deck of cards out there and they would be perfect
