Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rip after first use/Unfair Return policy Small tear developed whole the first time I went to use it. After loading it up and carrying it for a bit I noticed something digging into my back. Took it off and saw a tear and the bottom plastic liner. The weight made the tear larger and more uncomfortable to carry until I could unload it. The kicker is even if it’s Coleman’s fault the return policy states the shipping cost is non refundable and the cost to ship the item back is also not covered. If you are truly set on this product for some reason at least buy it from a site with a normal return policy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy On Shoulders The grocery store is right around the corner and I have been doing more and more of my shopping on foot. I have a ton of small staple runs. I have had some of the other bags and they were not half as comfortable as this one. It looks small but can fit a ton. I can pick up milk, eggs, and juice with no issues. I have also used it to take to the beach and even with a ton of soda cans and ice pack it did not painfully push down on my shoulders and felt fine on my back. o leaking issues even when I have had spills. The zipper is high quality. I would recommend cleaning and letting it dry after each use but other than that... This is for sure a better and more comfortable mouse trap when it comes to these cooler bags.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for hiking! This Coleman XPAND cooler backpack is amazing. I filled it up with cans and also food for a hike with my kids. I was surprised at how lightweight it was yet it held the perfect amount for our family. It was so nice to have it insulated and it worked well to keep everything cold. It allowed me to have my hands free to help my kids and also to take lots of pictures. The front pocket also allowed me to bring napkins and wipes for everyone. I was a little concerned with hiking and how the movement might affect the cans of soda, but no problems whatsoever. I am very pleased with this cooler as it kept my drinks and food cold, and also was great that it was a backpack and kept my hands free.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hard pass ; refund requested. I used this once then noticed the bottom was torn and it’s pretty much falling apart. Also it failed to keep beverages cold compared to my old $20 dollar soft cooler from Wally World. On a relatively warm day I had probably 8 drinks in here and even with the AC running by 4 pm they were warm… my old cooler performs better and that’s been left alone in my car on much hotter days. I requested a refund but not sure if they got back to me or not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable, lightweight and keeps ice cold! This Xpand soft cooler is perfect for a day hike or trip to the beach. It's lightweight and strong enough for a heavier load. The straps feel extremely durable and it even has a single handle in the center similar to a typical backpack. There is one large storage pocket on the front of the cooler to store your phone or other misc accessories and a side mesh pocket for a drink or phone. The only thing I noticed is that there is a seam in the cooler liner along the center of the cooler storage area. This isn't a bad thing but upon inspection was something I noticed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from A Short-Lived Love We take day trips out of town and are big foodies so we want to take food from our travels home with us. We can comfortably carry this around all day without any issue. We can fit multiple containers of food, beverages, and ice packs inside. Ice has lasted inside for days. I purchased this backpack cooler three months ago and have used it only four times. Unfortunately, the bottom ripped and the insulating material is coming out. We have never overstuffed the bag. We have never dragged the bag. In fact, it has rarely been placed on the ground. 90% of the bag is made with durable fabric but the bottom is made of a thin material. Even if we chose to sew the rip, it would only lead to more tearing given the material. Unfortunately, we are outside of the return period so we have no choice but to purchase another cooler backpack from another brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Designed with comfort in mind This is a wonderful cooler to keep my drinks and food chilled while I'm on the go. It's comfortable to wear as a back pack when I'm out fishing or hiking. It distributes the weight nicely and doesn't put any stress on my back. The cooler does an amazing job at holding a cold temperature so that my drinks stay cold and refreshing. The front pocket is great to store my wallet and non food items. I must say this cooler is a great commodity for the outdoors enthusiast, very durable and a hands free convenient cooler that will last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from On the go cooler The Coleman Xpand soft cooler is great for day trips, road trips and everything in between. I am very pleased with this cooler it hold up to 30 cans and has a leak proof liner. I was most happy that it is not too heavy or large for me to carry on my back, I am only 4"11 and I can carry it comfortably. I would recommend for anyone who like us spends time in parks, on trails and take shirt trips often. Also the front pocket is a huge bonus because it is large enough to hold both mine and my husband's phone and wallets.
