[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like my coffee scalding hot and I never seem to be able to finish even half a cup before it cools down too much for my liking. I have some other travel cups but like the feel of a traditional mug with handle. This cup from contigo is perfect! Not only does my coffee stay hot, but the mug traps the heat almost making the coffee seem hotter, but the outside of the mug never gets too warm to touch. The handle is the perfect size and the lid, while not 100% spill proof is adequate at preventing messes and very easy to drink out of. I find myself reaching for this cup every morning!

This mug does a fantastic job keeping my coffee hot for extended periods of time and it tastes fresh brewed even after hours of being in the mug. The only negative is the base is a little wide so it won't fit in a usual cup holder for travel purposes but the bottom has rubber feet which prevent it from sliding around. The lid is easy to open and drink from with no spills. This is definitely my new favorite mug.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hot & Cold! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved a Contingo 14oz mug. It is licorice in color with transparent glossy finish. It has a handle on it and also comes with a lid that slides open and closed. It also has a rubber like bottom for slip resistant. So far I've had no leaks or spills! I use mine mostly for coffee and it has kept it nice and hot but I have tried cold water in it too and it has kept it cold for several hrs. I hand wash all my dish but it is easy to clean too. I'd for sure try other Contigo brand mugs and water bottles.

Before, getting this mug I used to drink at least 3 or 4 cups of coffee/tea a day. I like hot drinks. Even in warm weather. Now, I pour my cup of coffee/tea in the morning and it is still hot at 1pm. I am a true believer in all insulated mugs! Great product. The base is wider and has a non slip pad. This has saved me a couple of times from major spills. The top fits snug, you don't need to use elbow grease to get the lid on or off. The cover for drinking is simple and just slides back and forth. Great mug.

I use it for my daily one hour work commute, in the office, and while at home. My coffee stays hot for hours at a time! I can make 2 small cups into this one and it fits perfectly under my Keurig machine. I don't have to worry about spilling, which is a plus, because it has a secure/splash proof lid. It is fairly light weight and safe for my dishwasher. This is definitely a great quality mug!

I normally most of the time, use it for my hot coffee, and this amazing mug keep it hot over 4 hours. I love the sleek looking black transparent glossy finish, and the handle is just perfect, plus it has a slider, splash-proof lid. Really nice insulated mug!

I was a little hesitant because this was my first time purchasing a CONTIGO mug. I enjoyed my old one so much that I was worried the CONTIGO 4oz Desk Mug w/ Handle - Licorice, Transparent Glossy Finish one would not live up to expectations. I have been using this mug for about a few weeks now, and it is excellent! It keeps my coffee hot for a long time! I like that it has a splashproof lid and that you can enjoy a hot or cold drink anywhere you go. I have enjoyed drinking my coffee in it, and boy does it keep my coffee hot! I can even place this mug directly under my coffee maker so the coffee can flow right in my mug. Its dishwasher safe, BPA free, double-wall insulated, and has a non-slip base. I love this cup so much that I think I'm going to purchase a few more to have on hand. I definitely would recommend the CONTIGO Desk Mug.
