I used to have this cooler but had to leave it behind in our last move. I purchased the 54-gallon, silver version before a party weekend and it delivered just in time. We filled it with three bags of ice and a bunch of mini sodas and water. Almost (5) days later, I was asked to bring cold drinks to another school event. I was shocked to find a fully frozen ice bag still in the cooler along with several drinks, still ice cold. I drained the water and carried the cooler with a few more added drinks to the event and it was all perfectly ice cold. Amazing how well this cooler works!!! And it looks great too. :-)

It is easy to keep clean of smudges by using a microfiber cloth. The latch is easy to use and keeps a good seal on the ice chest. The handles have a grip making it comfortable to carry. All materials are high quality. A wonderful feature is the bottle opener—it’s perfect to take on the beach or a party! The inside is easy to clean and drain. I highly recommend it to my friends and family! I also receive many compliments on it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by roadkill from warning: drain vulnerable to rodent teeth! A mouse chewed a hole through the plastic drain, rendering this cooler pretty useless since it no longer contains water from melting ice. What a bummer. Please consider a metal drain on future models.

We have taken it on 2 camping trips and had to put ice in it daily, plus the can opener is just for show, it does not work. Very disappointed but I suppose its too late for a refund? If I could have chosen a no star review I would have. :(

I called again and they couldn’t replace with the same item as she said they weren’t in stock but sent us a stainless steel one I gave it to him again and guess what dented. So for Father’s Day he never got the gift he deserved. I will never order again from you guys

On humid days this cooler “sweats”, meaning that it transfers heat from the outside fast enough for water to condense on the outside. Ice doesn’t last long enough, but I can live with that by using block ice. What I cannot live with is the cheap latch, it’s unforgivable junk.

When it arrived it had some damage from shipping. My husband was not happy so I called customer service. They not only replaced our cooler but upgraded our cooler to this model and sent it to us 2nd day fed ex. We have not used these steel belted coolers as of yet but the large white one my husband got for game meat has been awesome! We looked at a Yeti and some other super expensive cooler. We went with Coleman because of reviews and for how long they’ve been in business. We are VERY happy with our purchases! Our large game cooler has been able to keep meat cold and ice with little melt outside up to five days in 50 degree weather. I’m sure it could have kept meat cool with ice starting to melt for at least another five days!!!!! Yeti and the other name brands that are ridiculously priced can just Keep their coolers WE will keep the Coleman!! Far superior more affordable and cool looks and colors! Thank you Coleman!!!

Omg I just wait a lot to get a nice cooler, and now I'm so happy with this 54-Quart Stell cooler, I've only had it a few days, but it has meet all my expectations, I used during beach day, and really love it, keeps the ice for a lot time I checked about 3 days after used and was surprised that drinks was still cooling and have a couple cubos of ice, I'm so obsessed with bottles opener it's very practical my husband and friends enjoyed, very nice cooler!!

Keeps things cold much longer than a cheaper brand cooler I use also. I definitely am going to get another one to keep food cold and safe to eat. I would recommend this cooler to anyone who is looking for a great cooler.

You won't have to carry around a bottle opener because this one has a built in bottle opener on the front. The lid latches in the front so there's not any leaks. The cooler is 54 QT and can hold 85 cans.

I put ice in it and it lasted almost three days mostly in the sun.

When we stoped about two hours into riding, the pop was cold and the ice had not melted any! The next day, the pop was cold and a lot of the ice was still in it.

I bought this cooler and am very disappointed with the Lack of quality control of secondary packaging and/or finished product. I received the cooler with outside torn flaps and a dent on the ice chest cooler lid. Therefore, I cannot comment on the ice chest. I am sending it back.

The outside is stainless steel and seems to keep the inside cold longer . Size is perfect for a family of 4 to have a day out at the park complete with food and drinks.
