Decent size and rolling option but poor quality
Size and function of the cooler is great. Was a good upgrade from an older coleman plastic cooler. Acts as a seat in a pinch. My issue is the drain cover. It popped off after one use (no idea how). Build quality for this part is terrible and essentially compromises the cooler. My other one lasted for a decade.

Garbage that’s almost great
This cooler is so nice, except for the infuriating handle. It is extremely difficult to extend sometimes; Coleman cheaped out on some part of the mechanism (or maybe its alignment tolerances) and it sometimes takes minutes of struggling to extend. It just refuses to unlock. If the handle weren’t so frustrating, this would easily be a 5-star product worth its price, but as things are today you might as well buy some no-name clone from a random cheap brand.

Cannot recommend.
1) As many others here have noted the handle is complete junk. Hard to telescope in and out and poorly made. Mine lasted less than 1 trip.
2) The 5 days of ice retention at 90 degrees claim is a joke. Less than 24 hours at 75 degrees and all the ice was water.
Definitely would not buy again, now I'm wondering what else Coleman is skimping on.

It doesn't hold ice for 5 days. Somehow rain gets inside when the lid is closed.
It leaks water/ I guess the bung isn't tight enough.
I only bought a Coleman because I'm from Wichita as well. Really sucks that it's a bad cooler.

Affordable but don't expect longevity!
Purchased a few years ago and use it for a week at an annual charity event and whilst it claims to keep the ice cold for 5 days, we rarely got more than 2 days before restocking it with more ice. Also this year the wheels just came off whilst cleaning! Apparently the "Hard" sturdy casing wasn't enough to keep the rod and wheels from falling off. There is an online "hack" using mending plates to correct this but Coleman should've done a better job in the initial manufacturing process instead.

This is a pretty good cooler. Only complaint for me is that the lid is soooo freaking hard to open. Other than that it does the job. It rolls nice and the ice lasts all day. I can’t say if it is a fair price as I had to purchase this at a gas station literally in the middle of no where so it was pricier. I would definitely recommend getting this cooler.

Great cooler - a couple of wishes.
This does what it is supposed to do. It keeps things cold - for a long time. Also, the layout lets you maximize the room even with the bump out for the wheels. Two wishes: A large handle across the top to help with lifting and some kind of tab to help release the top from the suction, it can be a fight to open.

Disappointed
Unfortunately Coleman does not compare to all the new coolers out there. I bought this for my husband who owns a contracting business and works in the hot sun all day. Even when lined with ice packs it does not keep out the heat. Along with that it is not durable! Crack in the side already.

Axle and Wheels keep falling off.
This cooler works ok, won’t keep ice for more than 24hrs but even more annoying is the axle and wheels keep falling off. It seems the actual cooler mold will not hold the axle in place and it just pops off. I wold returen it but I received it as a gift and don’t want to ask for the receipt.

Cost effective purchase
We are going to replace our second one at the 3 year mark. Handle difficult to retract and extend. Yes it will retract with manual manipulation of the pins.
We will buy another hoping for another 3 years simply for the ability to keep items cold in our travels.

Handle and plug issues
We upgraded to this cooler because we were looking for a cooler on wheels and we like the Coleman brand. However the telescopic handle has always been a problem and once we took the plug out to drain, we cannot get it back in. We’re very disappointed in this cooler.

I have this cooler but in blue. I needed something durable and with wheels to last during camping weekends or music festivals. This seems pretty good so far. I like how the cooler doubles as an extra seat to sit on, has handles, and keeps my food and drinks cold!

I’m not sure what kind of testing the did …
When it said it holds ice for 5 days I was sold….But I was very Disappointed when I put about 30 cans in and 30 lbs. of ice cubes… And 3 days later when I opened it up it was all water no ice… at 54 degree water….. in the garage with no sun on it…. Not Happy…

Very nice cooler I have personally purchased 2 of these over the years. Holds ice very well and the large wheels make it easy to roll on grass, gravel and pavement. Not to bulky for a day trip and enough room for a whole weekends worth of drinks and food.

Needs modification.
Made to haul a lot, great size, idea to have a wheeled base is a plus! But not built to last. The wheels are fine, but the metal bar that slides under the cooler to connect the wheels is cheaply constructed. Cannot find a replacement for that piece.

Drain Cover needs replacing - but not available
The drain spout somehow adjusted shape so the drain cover no longer will attach. I've only used this cooler a couple times and now it's useless. I can't seem to find replacement parts. Looks like there are none available. :(

Excellent!
Love this cooler! It has worked wonderful! Lasted several days in the extreme heat. I have had one for years now and I'm just having to replace it due to the tires getting worn out. We use it weekly durning the summer.

For the price, you can’t go wrong! While the higher end coolers are nice, I think these work just as well and can store more items in them. These are great for a party or a weekend away. Would recommend buying one!

If you need a durable cooler that’s not flimsy , This is it. It’s not to big , but just big enough to put all ur essentials in . Keeps drinks nice and cold. Great for a game day tailgate or a summer cookout.

Ice retention no where close to 5 days not even 1!
Bought this for a weekend trip down the coast of michigan. It was left in my truck but temps never got above 80 in the car. Did not hold ice longer then 8 hours. Worst cooler ever
