Rated 1 out of 5 by DJ nay from Doesn’t last Received as a gift fro my parents for camping and power outages.... worked fine for about 6 months, now it appears the rechargeable battery is junk, light goes green immediately when plugged in, yet lantern won’t light. If you plug the Lateran and battery in the lantern will light. Very disappointed, came to site to get a replacement battery which is just as much as a new lantern. Will be seeking alternative product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by pizzapie22 from CPX 6 Rugged 400L LED lantern - junk I can't even charge the lantern because the USB won't stay in the port and the lantern won't light. Has anyone heard of a lantern being useful without having a light? This lantern was purchased for use in power outages that occur due to weather. Can't turn the screws for the ion battery compartment, so I can't remove the battery. This lantern is a total waste of money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Pswimmer from worthless product. I bought this for use in power outages. Rechargeable battery will not recharge. Only works with plug in and even then you have the turn it on its side. Did anyone at the company do QC prior to launching. Do not buy this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by 5of6chrys from Questionable quality I bought this battery operated lantern a few years ago. I liked that it had a rechargeable battery and it came with a charger which could plug into my car's electrical port (formerly called a cigarette lighter) and it came with an extra battery. I used it only four times the first summer I got it for a total illumination time of about 1 hr. Next season, it would not light. It was never dropped or left out in bad weather; it just wouldn't work. I charged the battery for a really long time, then I exchanged batteries but it still would not work. I thought that maybe there was something wrong with the light bulb (although I couldn't imagine what, since I never bumped the lamp ever), but you can't take the lamp apart to look at the bulb, much less replace it. I still have the lamp; I keep hoping I'll find some magical way of taking the lamp apart to figure out how to fix it. I hate to throw out something that lasted only about 1 hour. Don't waste your money

Rated 1 out of 5 by AnneR from Something is wrong! Had it for a while, hardly used, but yesterday wanted to charge the battery just in case... Plugged it in, charging lights shows "green", but light never comes on, no matter if plugged in or not. Junk and another $30 wasted. No more Coleman for me.
