CPX® 6 Triago™ 450L LED Lantern
Item Number 2000013867
Take the convenience of three lights in one when you have the Coleman® CPX® 6 Triago™ 450L LED Lantern. Together the lantern shines up to 450 lumens on high for up to 13 hours or 30 lumens on low for up to 300 hours. When you need to take some light with you without taking the whole lantern, simply pop one of the light panels off the base to use as a personal light. Each panel has its own controls and handle to make lighting up a second area easy. If every panel needs to be removed, a light on the base will stay lit to help you find your way back to the main campsite. The panels will recharge once they're back on the base. CPX® system compatibility lets you choose your power: four D cell batteries or one CPX® 6 rechargeable power cartridge. LEDs last a lifetime, so they never need replacing, and they run cool so the lantern is always safe to touch, even when it’s been on for hours.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Islandgirl from NOT A HAPPY CAMPER :( As soon as I brought my Coleman CPX6 led lantern home, I tested it out, and was extremely pleased at how bright it was. I thought, "Wow! This is lantern is going to be great during a power outage!" When we needed it 6 months later, only 1 out of the 3 led lights worked. Horrible, horrible, dissapointment for the price paid. We have never had much problems with any of our Coleman products, so I didn't bother to save the receipt. HUGE MISTAKE! What a waste of money. And it doesn't seem like I'm the only one having problems with this lantern.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Bigsal from It worked once I have many Colman product and rarely have I ever had any issues. I have gas and propane laterns that are over 30 years old. Just keep them clean and they work. That is till now. I bought this lantern Because of the detachable panels along with it being battery operated. Figuring that it would be great for a power outage. I used it once last summer. Packed it away. I decide to start getting out stuff for camping and for emergencies. I put in fresh batteries. Tried to turn it on and it wouldn't work. Tried every way I could think of and finally I discovered that the battery pack. No longer sits right and unless you hold it. The light not longer works. So, basically I have a 59.00 paperweight

Rated 3 out of 5 by ARG1 from Great except the rechargeable batteries We used it and followed instructions regarding charging and storage. Still, the battery died in less than 3 years from purchase. I liked the initial price. Then I purchased the rechargeable batteries pack which cost almost as much as the lantern and it did not last at all. I have many reliable pieces of equipment from Coleman but this one I am on the fence about. Yes, I like the classic design as well as the 2 settings to conserve power.I love the lightweight. I would recommend but for the price buy rechargeable batteries and charger separately.

Rated 3 out of 5 by LandCruiserGuy from Would be great if the rechargable battery worked I like the lantern, and the light output. The ability to take off the individual lights is a nice function. Overall the lantern is good as long as you use it with D batteries in the included carrier. As far as the rechargable battery that I purchased seperatly, it worked for one charge, and would not hold a charge after that. If you buy this lantern, get rechargable D batteries, and do not waste your money on the Coleman recharable pack.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MikeVanV from Love these; have three of them Our son received one for Christmas and then we looked it so much we purchased two more... great light... love separating the lights and positioning outside the campsite, glowing "inward..." much help when setting up the tent after dark. Work well at home, too. One set of three batteries died so just replaced them... with NiMh batteries from the store. I do wish I understood the electrical more... seems the batteries in the base will charge the three side lights then also light the central base, too... but the CPX6 is a disappointment... all three purchased and none take a charge any more... so moving to the version that holds four D batteries. Still thankful and happy with the Triago. Thank you, Coleman!

Rated 5 out of 5 by FullTimeFarmer from Very usefull I purchased one with the 4 D battery pack and have really liked it. We have used it for camping a little and mostly for power outages at home. Really like how the panels separate and have their own batteries that charge off the main pack of D batteries. If you are using it often, get the rechargeable pack; but if you are only using it occasionally get the D battery pack. The D batteries last a long time. You get quite a few hours of light out of one set of batteries. I haven't had a battery pack go dead from use, just from age. But I tend to be saver and not a user. Rechargeable batteries don't last forever, and they lose their charge as they sit in storage. The alkaline D batteries hold their charge a lot better in storage.
