Rated 2 out of 5 by from Way too small This backpack is SUPER TINY! It can barely hold my 13" MacBook air. The laptop slot IS NOT padded and that sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. The padding on the back is not much for laptop security either. The arm straps have padding but it seems pointless because the inside of the bag is so small that you wouldn't be able to carry many things at once. The side mesh bottle holders feel secure but with the inside being so small, even carrying one bottle would take away vital space. Perhaps this bag is perfect for a middle schooler or small child but anyone who needs a laptop carried safely or room to carry a lot of books, do not attempt to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great daily bag The Coleman backpack is a small to medium sized bag and is the perfect size for me to tote around stuff for daily use. The outside is waterproof with two mesh bottle holders on each side and a front pocket compartment for slimmer/smaller items. There is a chest strap for extra stability if needed. Underneath the front pocket, there is a side pocket with a key clip. I appreciate that there’s a vertical zipper for that because it makes accessing the keys easier while still wearing the bag. Inside there is a laptop sleeve and pen compartments, as well as an additional key ring. The inside cavity has ample space for my on-the-go items, and the color is a nice neutral sage-green.

Whether you're using it for commuting to work or school, traveling on a day trip, or using it while hiking, the bag is great. Lightweight, but sturdy, the backpack makes it comfortable to wear for extended periods, and the multiple compartments, including a front zip pocket, provide convenient storage options for quick-access items like keys, phones, and wallets. The water-resistant fabric is a bonus for unpredictable weather, keeping contents dry in light rain. Overall, the Coleman backpack combines practical functionality with durability and comfort, making it a great companion for everyday use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing comfortable backpack This backpack is AMAZING. It is water proof. It has a flap that covers the zipper so it is 100% waterproof. It has a mesh back so it’s comfortable to carry around for long periods of time. The inside has a lot of pockets to keep organized. It even has pockets for pencils and pens. It has two mesh pockets on the sides that I’m going to use for baby bottles. I am using this bag as a diaper bag and it’s the best thing for my baby and I. She can use it for school when she’s older that’s how durable this backpack is. This backpack will be great for Maine weather too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Compact and Durable, but Snug with Limited Storage I gave the Coleman Walker 17 Backpack a 4 out of 5. It’s a solid choice for school or work. Durability is great—it’s built well and feels like it will last. Comfort is good, but the fit is a little snug, especially when carrying more than the basics. It works for daily use, though, and the adjustable straps help. The fit is decent for lighter loads, but the capacity isn’t spacious enough if you need to carry a lot. What I really like about this backpack is the versatility—the side pockets are perfect for a mini water bottle or an umbrella, which is super convenient. Storage is good for smaller items, but if you need extra space, it’s a little limited. Overall, it does the job, but I took off a point for the snug fit and smaller storage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from plenty of space! Coleman is a brand I am familiar with and in my mind they’re a reputable company. Their products have a history of being reliable so I felt better about carrying around my expensive laptop in it. The Coleman Walker 17 backpack is good size but not huge. I’m able to fit my laptop, tablet, and planner with plenty of space.. There is a good amount of padding in the back. The front has ample storage for my pens, keys, and other smaller items. I love the army green color, it reminds me of Fall. The straps are amply padded as well and feel comfortable on my shoulders. My only complaint is I’m not a fan of the slick type of material but that’s just a person preference but I also know that this type of material is resistant to moisture and staining so the trade off is worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice lightweight bag The WALKER 17 is a lightweight, water repellent backpack with convenient pockets to keep everything organized and safe. The main pocket fits my laptop and planner. I use one side pocket for my water bottle and the other side pocket for my coffee. There are two internal clips which are super convenient for keys and I use the other for my AirPods case. This is the perfect option for college students. However, I also recommend to any hybrid employees like myself who carry their work essentials to and from the office.

Its size is just right for carrying the essential travel items I need most. I was thrilled to receive it just before my trip to Mexico. Thanks to its well-organized interior compartments, the bag fits my clothes and personal items perfectly. This product is also great for hiking, as it features a clasp that secures the bag’s weight and prevents it from falling. Additionally, the front has two reflectors, which provide an extra safety measure, especially for nighttime walks. The bag is very lightweight, and the stylish laces on the closure give it a tactical look. I appreciate that the color is unisex, and the padded straps add extra comfort for carrying it on my back.
