Rated 1 out of 5 by Bonnie from Coleman Quality I have had this chair 2 years and the seat is rotted and ripping at the grommets. The grommets are also rusted. The sponge arm covers are splitting on the under side. I am the only one who sits in it and I weigh 130. I also put it away when not in use. I am so very disappointed and will not buy Coleman again.

This is my second chair I have bought, the first was bought at a national known store many years ago. This chair is just as confortable but was shipped damaged. The bag had two large holes in it and one of the arm rests was damaged. Arrived only in the damaged bag. Maybe should have shipped it in something a little more durable. Perhaps a cardboard box. Besides all that, my wife was happy the gift I had given. It'll last a long time if you keep it out of the elements.

People are always envious and asking where they can get one. My only complaint is that I can’t seem to easily find new ones, no one seems to carry them!

Rated 4 out of 5 by MFouz from Very comfortable chair I had one of these chairs and rebuilt it with bungee cord several times. This is the most comfortable camp chair I’ve ever had. I guess the trade off is the bungee wears out. I wish Coleman would stock the bungee cord in their part store.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bang from Great Camp Chair Comfortable (no sagging back or bottom, cool mesh back, although narrow the arm rests are pretty good with foam padding, good size for me (not small, not huge, just right for 6'1" me)). Sturdy. Good quality. Folds up into a cylinder and not rectangular which suits the vehicle I use to transport the chair. Coleman customer support is stellar in all regards - delivery service evidently employed King Kong who mashed up the box pretty well and Coleman quickly made things right by me.

Suspension back and bottom allows chair to give with body weight. Far more comfortable than those reclining camping chairs. DOWNSIDES: Cords that hold bottom to frame do break down over time. Expect to have to replace chair every three years or so. Further, flip up cup holder is useless. Do yourself a favor and discard it right away. Would I buy the chair again. Absolutely. I just did!

And 2 years ago bought 4 more. Everybody that comes to our house will always pick these over any other chairs we have and almost fight over them. They are comfortable and durable. They are a little heavy to take to ballgames etc but absolutely love these. I’m going to buy some more when I can get back to the store.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Brad H from No longer the reliable standard. 1/2 the fedex shipment came damaged beyond repair and getting a credit is very difficult and frustrating requiring at least an hour of my time, very poor customer service. The 1/2 that came that were not damaged are good with the exception of the eyelets are popping out after the first usage. I’ve been a lifelong Coleman supporter, next time in the market I’ll look at all offerings and not assume I’m getting quality from Coleman.

I took good care of it and it looked new for many years. The mesh on the back is great for keeping cool. It is one of my favorite features. The seating position is relaxed and modestly reclined. The arm rests are very comfortable. I just ordered a new one and didn't even look at other available chairs because it is exactly what I need.

We put them to hard use and after 10 years the fabric eventually gave way around the grommets (salt air and hard landings, lol). When I saw these once again on the website, it was a no brainer. Hit the buy button immediately. I hope they are of comparable quality and if so, I will buy more as backups.

It's chingy chains fell apart after a couple of uses and now it can't hold a drink. Also would have been nice if cup holder could fit a cellphone or bigger drinks like other chairs . I've tried fixing the cupholder chains but they just as easily fall apart again. Horrible design. Should have been solid, used rope or been a small folding shelf

We've had a set of these chairs that lasted more than 10 years, but were starting to fall apart. We'd replaced some of the elastic roping throughout the years, but they have lasted very well and we use them every day! We were glad to be able to find the chairs to purchase again at a reasonable price.

Just under a year later, one of the chains on the cup holder is dangling and a pin, screw or whatever it is fell out and the chair is no longer usable. Probably used it only a dozen times. I am truly sad that I can't use it and wasted the money.

Well constructed and sturdy, one of these chairs lasted me almost ten years before I had to replace it. I use this chair every single time I can, it is really comfortable and supportive. These chairs clean very easily and dry very quickly if they get wet. I have taken every opportunity to order more, they are worth every penny!

I use them as my living room chair because they are lightweight and easy to move and very comfortable. I add a cushion to sit on as well. I buy extra cord in the event one breaks. It's easy to replace. This chair is too heavy for backpacking, but a good camp chair and worth the money in my opinion.

Easy to get out of while not wrapped up in a cheap sling chair. Buuuut! The chair should of never left the factory with the ridiculously cheap, poor, junk cup holder! I hope you didn't pay someone too much money to design the cup holder! I was going to order more but no, no more..

Cup holder is a bit on the small side and doesn’t expand, however, it folds up real nice when stowing the chair. The construction is sturdy, and when sitting down, the seat doesn’t cut off leg circulation like some chairs do.

Mins you we are very good to our stuff. They are very comfortable but very disappointed in quality!!!

I have some chairs I bought several years ago and they are still holding up well after having been sitting on a west facing porch in the harsh sun for all of that time. I highly recommend these chairs and consider them high value.

Shipping was fast and they are wonderful for camping or front porch sittin'. My only complaint is the foam where the arm rests are started coming apart almost immediately. Not a big deal, we still love them!

They are a little heavy, but all of the material and hardware is as good as the day we bought them. I've read some of the bad reviews and clearly some of those chairs have been left in the weather and not taken care of.

No real winters and lots of sunshine) and the fabric began to fade and deteriorate. Unfortunately Coleman does not sell replacement parts. Suggest you take it in when not in use. Otherwise everyone who sat in in loved it.

The cord broke on one side but I didn't throw it away...I bought new cord and repaired it....there were so many camping memories attached to it. It is affectiontely known as "the Queen's Chair"
