Rated 2 out of 5 by JSun from Quality Not What It Used To Be This is inferior to the other 2 Colman chairs I have. The 2 earlier chairs are more robust in materials the tubing is thicker, the seating material is heavy duty like canvas and has reinforced joints where the chair folds. The earlier versions are better quality all around.The cooler quad has thinner tubing, thinner nylon type seating material and just simple rivets for the folding parts… also the top of the chair back just flops over it’s not like pictured. I wanted more of the chairs like the first ones and these “cooler quad” chairs were the closest match. Pretty disappointing to see the quality has diminished.

Rated 3 out of 5 by RalMel from Disaapointed in quality We've had these chairs for about 2 years now and although we love how comfrotable they are and the storage bag and built in cooler are added bonuses we are disappointed on how these have held up. We use these about once a month when we go out camping and these are stored in the garage when not in use so they haven't been left out in the rain or sun. Despite that, these chairs have become increasingly difficult to fold up into their storage bags as the legs don't want to collapse. It's only a matter of time before one of the legs becomes stuck and we're no longer able to fold these chairs up. We have a loveseat chair made by a different company that is twice as big but is easier to fold up than these single chairs.

I used this chair 3 times for camping in the 2 months after I bought it. I used it for the 4th time last weekend and it broke. The handrest bent right off. I weigh less than 250lbs. and I have an older Coleman camping chair that I have been using for about 10 years ! I may not ever buy another chair from Coleman.

Do not put any pressure on them to get up because the snap at the joints. I adjusted and it snapped, reliving the tension from the seat and dumped me to the side onto the ground. The river points are very close to the ends of the pipes and easily torn out collapsing.

I do NOT like the tiny cupholder as it's so shallow, my bottle topples out of it. And there's NO way I can get this back in the cover bag due to the cooler on the side, so I decided to ditch the bag and carry it by the..... NOPE, no shoulder strap on the actual chair like all my other previous chairs. SO, it's just OK.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Grannyo from Great idea; poor craftsmanship I bought two of these chairs for lake trips. One was made of canvas all over, the other had a nylon lining on back of the back piece. The first trip was great! Cooler kept drinks cold even in direct sunlight. Second trip, two weeks later, the headrest on both chairs folded down and would not stand up/ so no headrest. The silk on the back of one started to fray and came undone at the top. A six dollar bag chair from Walmart would last better. Very sad because the chairs are so comfortable and the ice chest is a great idea.

Rated 5 out of 5 by dads2vette from Quality chair First, I'm a short fat guy...think one of the dwarfs from Lord of the Rings but friendlier. I've used this chair probably 150 days a year over the last 2 years. I keep it outside most of the time unless I'm away from home for extended periods over a couple months. It sits in the Arizona sun for that time, high desert so it also gets snowed on. Recently I put a hole in the top of the seat with a Dremel tool, my bad. Now it holds water in the pad and won't dry quickly because it's water resistant. I still use it but with a plastic bag over the seat. I am getting another as I expect the tear to expand. I never use the side cooler for anything but to hold the storage bag which is junk. I cut off the side pocket because it got in my way and I never used that. I like the cup holder.

After 1 MONTH of use, I turned to talk to a friend while sitting in it and the arm rest snapped off. I’m upset because every other Coleman product I own is built like a tank and I was looking forward to using this chair for many years. I think the most important part of designing and building a chair is safety. I could have been hurt much worse than I was.

Sometimes I am out there all day, so having a chair like this with a built in cooler for hot days (or to set my thermos in for cold mornings) is ideal. The mesh cup holder is great as well as the side pocket for holding extras. Easy to move around when I need to change positions. Looking to get a second one too. Am thinking of getting some stakes to lightly tether to ground when needed. Best all around chair in my opinion. Sometimes can be a little hard to get out of if you aren't tall enough.

So the seat doesnt stay on now and the arm is broken. I did not even put alot of force on the arm and its just fell right off. Cheap metal was used for the framing. The chair was only used a few times

Reasonably priced, sturdy enough, comfortable, and not too light nor too heavy to fold up and carry. The carry bag is flimsy and it was difficult to squeeze the chair tight enough to fit back in. It can be done but I chose to just wrap a bungee chord around the chair as we we use them often for the beach (although they would be awesome for camping too). We love the drink holder, the netted storage and the built in cooler bag. Overall, we are very pleased with the product given its inexpensive price point.

The 2-Stars is due to the fact that 30 YEARS LATER (last time I bought a chair) Coleman is STILL producing low end carry bags for their chairs. Whyyyyyy are the bags so TIGHT, the chairs can only go in one way and the bags are not long enough to completely enclose the chair???? AND, I'm sure I'm not the only person doing the "vertical shake" to get the chairs down the shaft of the bag. In time, we all live with split bags till they are no longer useable defeating the purpose of storing & keeping clean. To top all of this off you don't offer replacement bags .... this seems to be a no brainer money maker. SMH!!! Would I recommend this chair, YES! Would I recommend the carry bags, HECK NO!!

Both my wife and I tried them (2-chairs) upon delivery and found them to be generally uncomfortable. The seat material is stretched by design to support the chair sides which makes it taught at the front and presses into the backs of your legs. Cost more than 1/2 total cost of chairs for return shipping just to try them out. Returned them anyway since they were really that uncomfortable. Will look for a different design that doesn't have this issue.

My only complaint is that I already had this chair and the carry bag that the original came in was made of the same material as the chair. The carry bag for the chair that I just received was made of very flimsy polyester. I am afraid that it will tear at the seams very easily.

They’re very comfortable and very sturdy ! Plus they have perks lol ! The perks being the compartments on each side . I always need to use the drink holder side so I’m hands free ! That way I can hold my grandchildren ! And it’s also of great comfort because I have MS and Arthritis.. so I cannot sit in an uncomfortable chair ! They look nice too ! The quality is really great as well ….

I love this brand in general they have all kinds of outdoor equipment and stuff that you need and it’s all good quality made from good material. This is portable easy to store in a nice seat for outside. It has built-in cupholders And is very durable. You can tell that the fabric is made from good quality materials and the stitching on it is really good. Highly recommend this chair. If you’re doing any kind of outing it’s the best choice for comfort.

This camping chair by Coleman with a built in 4 can cooler is awesome for camping or the beach or going to the park it's made pretty durable and it's easy to fold up and take with you and it's actually pretty comfortable too not to mention it has a 4 can cooler attatched to it so you can keep your beers cold while enjoying a sunset or simply relaxing in the wilderness I definitely recommend getting yourself one or maybe two or three for the whole family you'll thank yourself later.

Easy to fold into the bag and I love the side cooler and the cup holder! This chair is much heavier than the one I had before and durable, I can tell as soon as I saw it, and it holds drinks and a pocket for keeps drinks cold( I used for sit outside of my porch when I enjoying coffee morning, it works good for me and very happy with it, it’s been about a year now, no complaints. Highly recommended this chair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by stacih15 from Love but more arm support The Coleman camping chair with 4 can cooler is an excellent choice for comfort and convenience. For a large size person it is very durable allowing a person with a maximum weight of 300 lbs to sit without worry. The only issue I found over extended us is that one of the arm support rests came lose and fell down. The chair is still useable but it is bothersome. Overall, compared to other camping chairs I would give this a big thumbs up because of comfort, storage and purpose.
