Please be advised that waterproofing a tent using Coleman seam sealer is normally necessary after a few years of use. You should not have to waterproof your tent if it is new and has not been exposed to a lot of UV rays! However, if your tent has already been used and needs to be waterproofed, we recommend that you do so on a dry day and at least a week before your camping trip.
