Worth the effort
I would have given this 4.5 stars, but since I'm limited to whole stars I have to stick with 4.The only real fault I can knock it for is the design of the bracket supporting the back portion and altering it's angle. It seems well built, and should last the life of the cot, but it's not the most convenient when it comes to changing the angle, or folding it up for storage. Other than that, I'm very pleased with the overall size and construction of it. I'm 6 foot, and I have no trouble stretching out without having my feet dangle off the end. And it's wide enough that my shoulders and arms aren't pressed against the framework.

Really perfect for us!
I bought 2 of these cots mainly for laying outside in the sun and we have only used them a few times so far, but they are perfect for what we needed. We looked for inexpensive outdoor lounge chairs and couldn't find them anywhere. I saw these cots and noted that many used them as lounge chairs so I gave it a try and I am very glad I did. We got them on sale and the price was right. The quality is good and feels sturdy. I read the reviews before purchasing so I already knew that they were a little noisy when you move on them but that didn't discourage me. I would definitely recommend them.

Ripped at seam in 2 weeks !
It's an inexpensive, easy to carry cot
that converts to a chaise lounge. Good idea except the fabric is so thin it ripped
12 inches along the seam after only
14 uses. Remarkable in that the seam is at the foot so bearing no significant weight. Under the warranty I must ship the Converta Cot back - impossible
because the shipping fees are about two-thirds the cost of the cot ! Oksy, where's the Duct Tape !

Not worth it
We bought these last year and stored them in the garage for the winter. Brought them out this year and my 2 teenage daughters (100-120 lbs) went to lay on them and they ripped!! They cannot be used and are worthless. Don’t waste your money

Tears after moderate use
I was on site to find a cover replacement.. since it tore so easily. VERY unhappy that the expensive sturdy frame is now landfill or I go to boat shop to make new cover with snaps.
My son's cot seems to be the same generation as the other unhappy customers. I bought ours 2 years ago and have moved so the receipt and warranty slip are.. ? who knows where. It had several uses when we bought it and was then stored for 9 months until we moved back (btw That is not oxidation.. it is diamectous earth.. was sleeping outside on patio). My coleman swing bench I bought in 2010 is still fine except sunlight killed the velcro tab hooks. I cant remeber if I bought it at walmart or Home Depot.. a big box for sure

I bought two of these in 2020. They were used minimally and stored inside when not in use.
I took them out today and set them up for an outdoor movie night. My daughters friends fell through them when sitting. I was sitting right next to them and then weren’t doing anything rough, they just sat up from reclining. One ripped and then the other ripped shortly after. They both ripped in the same spot.
There is only a 1 year warranty and these were barely used. Not a good product.

Tears after a few uses
I purchased this to use by my outdoor pool. After a handful of uses and storage under the deck out of the sun, the fabric ripped at the seams. I spent $80 for this cot and got a few uses out of it. Wayfair said to contact Coleman and I am waiting to see if they will warranty.
