Rated 4 out of 5 by David13 from Quality and good price, but tough assembly This cot seems to be of good quality and I found it for a reasonable price. These are comfortable to sleep on and great to have around for camping or even houseguests. Assembling the cot at first is quite difficult, I was able to manage it with the help of a youtube video (standing cot on end and stepping on one end of bar to leverage the knob into the bar), but I imagine many people with less physical ability will get frustrated. I left it assembled for a week and the canvas stretched enough that it was easier to assemble after that. I would recommond to coleman that they promote that video, leave a link to it, or create their own version

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from AWESOME! Exactly what i was looking for Great cot. I have looked for military cots and have found new ones but for the price, could never get my self to buy it. This is exactly like what I had when I was in the Marines (2007 to 2017). It folds up to a compact size, is the durable nylon material, and has a nice transporting bag. What makes this slightly better than the military ones, the end poles (used to stretch the cot tight) are slightly longer on one end to help you get leverage to pull it. The military cots were such a pain to achieve this that we often only ever used one end pole, but this one I can set up fairly easily. It's also very sturdy and after using it several times, seems like it will hold up very well over time. I would recommend this for any camper, or any one needing a spare cot for a guest.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Negativeight from Comfortable, but NOT built to last This thing was really comfortable and sturdy with no pressure points, but the fabric tore at the seam after minimal use. I have owned this product for a little over year and I weight 175 lbs (well below the max weight recommendations). I only used this on one 2-day camping trip last October and a handful of times napping on the patio. Always stored indoors and never left out to the elements. Im really bummed because this was very comfortable, but obviously, I won’t be buying another one as a replacement because I expect the same issue to occur and I can’t recommend this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Cosgrove from Lasted 3 trips My brother and I got one. A year apart mine was used 3 times his was used 2 times. On the same trip the fabric ripped along the rail and I fell through it in the middle of the night. His had a 3 inch cot pad so he went to check his it was ripped in the same spot. If you only want to use it a few times go ahead and get one. Also coleman doesnt sell replacement parts to fix it so I have some good frames that are worthless.

I just recently took it out of the bag and it had a small tear along the seam in the middle if the cot. I laid down on the cot and the tear went up the side along the seam. I know it's been almost 3 years since I purchased the cot but I figured it should have lasted longer than this with only 3 nights of camping with it!

Rated 3 out of 5 by LoneCrow from Great cot for car camping but hard to assemble! I'm working on my second season with this cot. It is very sturdy and wide. I like the 17" height which is perfect for strapping up boots in the fall and winter. The cot is very supportive and I've used various mats on it for added comfort. The one downside of this mat is the difficulty with assembly. Getting the 4th anchor point on the cross beams to lock into position is very difficult and it becomes more difficult in colder conditions. Overall I'm very pleased with its performance and durability and I've slept 60+ nights on it over the past two seasons. Check out my video review on my YouTube cChannel Lone Crow Adventures!

The trick was to stand the cot on the side and use your foot for leverage, after watching video my 13yo daughter could put it together by herself easy peasy. Comfortable with no icky middle bar in your back

Rated 2 out of 5 by JulesK from Plastic Pins, lol Do you like a cot that you have to be extremely careful not to damage when opening it up, but that you also need a breaker bar to stretch the last end bar slots onto the pins? Did I mention the pins are plastic and will break after awhile? Then the Trailhead II is the cot for you. Just dropped mine off at the dump today. Now I will say it did provide some decent service while it lasted. Honestly I am surprised they lasted as long as they did. I assumed they were metal covered in plastic. Now I know lol. The positives - The cot is reasonably comfortable and is wider than many cots, without being super long, which us short people don't need and is a hindrance in a small space.
