I don&rsquo;t see where to buy the butane for the stove nor do I see instructions on how to put butane in. Please advise.&nbsp;

Hi Karen76, Thank you for contacting Coleman, the Outdoor Company. We understand that you want to know where you can buy butane fuel for the Coleman&reg; Classic 1-Burner Butane Camping Stove and how to put butane in it.&nbsp;We'd like to let you know that you can buy butane fuel from our third-party retailers such as Walmart and Target. Please follow the instructions below to set up the butane in: 1. Turn Control Knob clockwise to ( ) position as shown. 2. Open the cartridge compartment 3. Insert butane cartridge as shown. NOTE: Notch on cartridge must be in up position. Cylinder supply system must be arranged to provide for proper fuel withdrawal from the operating cylinder. 4. Pull Lever down to lock. Perform leak check where shown. 5. Close cartridge compartment. NOTE: If compartment will not close, check to be sure lever is in &ldquo;lock&rdquo; position. If the problem persists, take the stove back to your dealer. We hope we were able to answer your question. Please let us know if you need further assistance. Thank you and have a wonderful day

Can this stove take an adapter to use the 1-lb Coleman propane bottles?

Hi RandyL, Thank you for contacting Coleman, the Outdoor Company. We understand that you want to know if the Coleman&reg; Classic 1-Burner Butane Camping Stove can use propane fuel with an adapter. Please be advised that design of the stove's manifold is not suitable for propane use and can result in sub-standard performance and safety issues.
