Peak One (Black) Hikers Stove
Earlier this summer I purchased the Red colored version of this stove and had tremendous success with it. The Black colored version is just as good. The wider flame distribution allows for the cooking of food, rather than just boiling water for re-hydration of dry meals. Sure this unit takes a bit longer and does consume a little more fuel. But to many of us quality is foremost over time. This unit feels well designed and well built. It should last for many years. I plan to take this unit for cooking meals and a smaller “rocket” style stove for boiling water. It’s truly the best of both worlds. The weight is not excessive either. Coleman was kind enough to quickly ship this unit out in time for my Labor Day weekend camping/hiking plans despite my last minute purchase. Bravo Coleman! Please keep making quality built products so future generations will be able to enjoy them.
And please keep your 30% off sales going from time to time. It’s very helpful on our wallets during these days of high inflation.

We understand that you are asking if the Coleman&reg; Classic 1-Burner Backpacking Stove will work with ordinary green propane cylinders. We would be delighted to answer your inquiry. Please be advised that the stove can be used with an ordinary green propane cylinder and can run for up to 1 hour on high on one 16 oz propane cylinder. We hope we were able to answer your question.
