I have never had a problem
I have a coleman automatic drip coffee maker that I have had for 20 years. It still not only works Great. But I love. During storms when the power is out, I'm still having coffee. The trick is don't turn the fla.e up on high, and as soon. As the coffee is done brewing. Turn the flame down , you just want to keep the coffee hot, not boil it. My only complaint. I just bought a coleman camper and want to find a case to put my coffee pot in. Preferably one with storage for my battery operated grinder.

Bottom melted on Coleman camp stove
I've had mine less than a year and noticed that it was taking longer to make coffee. We have only ever used it on my camp stove. The bottom melted out of it. Not sure how my camp stove could get that hot.

Bottom piece melted 4th time we used it
Loved this coffee maker! But now after the 4th use, the bottom aluminum has melted. Not sure how as we’ve used it the same as another older version of this one and it was always fine. Always just used it on the stove in the trailer, Quite frustrating, hoping I can get a new bottom plate or something to fix it?

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!
I purchased the Coleman camping drip coffee maker from Canadian Tire in 2011. Although it is 11 years old, I only used the product a total of 15 times. Every time, I used it on my Coleman camp stove following the Coleman’s usage instructions to the letter.
On the 15th use, the Coleman stove melted the heat shield on the bottom of the coffee maker. Would You buy an electric Coffee maker You could only make 15 pots of coffee with?
I expected more from a reputable company like Coleman.
Stay away from this product!

I expected better from Coleman
Lid that holds the hose for the water to drip over the coffee won't stay on. Seams like it was made with a plastic that cant handle the heat and the tabs stop holding. Would have been better off with small plastite screws. Now I have to set things on top of it to get my coffee. I am very disappointed. Coleman used to be the only name in camping.

I like it, but it is coming apart already :-(
We recently purchased this coffee mark, it does a great job. However, the plastic cover piece that goes over where the top where the hot water drips down has pulled apart. I'm afraid to glue it since it goes get hot. I'd give it 5 stars otherwise

Received as a gift 10 years ago and still looks newThis with you strictly for camping. The only complaint I have is that it takes about 20 to 25 minutes to make the coffee on the outdoor Coleman stove. Why not

works good but S---L---O---W.
If you have a lot of other stuff to do around the campsite, do them. It takes around 45 minutes (yes, forty-five) to brew a pot of coffee. Any tips out there??

Oh lord, I just bought a 12 cup stainless steal perc pot and the glass broke. So then coleman is all out of the glass tops. So theyre going to replace it with this pot. Was kind of jazzed about it until I seen these reviews. Is this melting common ?

We'd like to let you know that our 10 Cup Camping Coffee Maker is not prone to melting. Here are some instructions on how to use it. 1. Always operate camp stove on a level surface. 2. Use only on one, two, or three- burner camp stove. Never use this product on single burner (bottle top style) stoves. Never use on electric ovens. 3. Never use this product on a Gas or Charcoal Grill. 4. Never use this product on a stove burner rated in excess of 15,00 BTU's 5. Be sure coffeemaker is place on the stove in a stable manner before lighting stove. 6. Always set coffeemaker onto stove &amp; pour water into reservoir prior to lighting the burner. 7.
