5-Person Instant Dome Tent
Adventure is moments away when you set up the Coleman® 5-Person Instant Dome Tent. Pre-attached poles make setup a simple matter of unfold, extend and secure, so your tent and the integrated rainfly are ready in about 60 seconds. If it rains, the WeatherTec™ system and its patented welded floors and inverted seams will help you stay dry. Additionally, a door awning helps to keep the water out. The auto-roll windows open in a snap to let in the comforting breeze, and you can keep them open in the rain thanks to the window awnings. Illumiline™ reflective guy lines are more visible at night so you don't get tripped up if you need to take a walk in the dark. Inside, there's enough room to stretch out on two queen-sized airbeds. When it's time to head home, the tent fits into an included carry bag for easy storage and transport.

Rated 2 out of 5 by zibercat from Easy to set up, BUT..... I got this tent two years ago, because it was on sale at Costco, and my previous tent was too small. I was able to try it for the first time last year and it was awesome. Then this past weekend (Father's Day weekend) I set it up, quick and easy. At night one of the pole's plastic elbow gave up, it was secured with zip ties. Then the opposite pole's plastic elbow also gave up and the tent is laying flat on the ground. I have to use two tent stakes and duct taped them the elbows from keeping them for folding. I got only two uses out of it. Need to redesign the plastic elbows.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Old Hiker from Great For Quick Set-Ups It is remarkable just how fast this tent can be set up and taken down. It is easy to use, and packs up very compactly. Of the four tents I own and use regularly, this five-person Instant Dome Tent is the most practical.

Rated 2 out of 5 by bella44139 from needs to be redesigned we are having this tent for less than 2 years. Once it was windy, not crazy windy and 2 joints folded backwards. Coleman does not carry any replacement parts for this model. Now we got stock with the broken tent. I thing this model needs to be redesigned. When it is working, it is great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SamKnows from Easy to set up, The 5 person dome tent could sleep five, but really three is reasonable with other gear on the floor. It sets up in realistically 5 minutes when you know what to do, but practice at home first. Getting it back into the bag takes two people. The seven foot long space for each person is enough for most people up to 6'4". Found it at Costco for under a hundred!

Rated 1 out of 5 by rkoenig15 from Junk This tent is a piece of garbage. The cheap plastic zippers didn't last one time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MichaelB from Great tent! Just used it for the first time. It was a breeze to set up and take down. The windows and ventilation screens make it easy to keep the tent at the right temperature. My only issue has to do with the rain flaps over the door zippers. The flaps always get caught in the zipper when you're trying to close them, making one-handed zipping impossible! (And even two-handed zipping was frustrating.). That was my only complaint about the tent.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Leroche from Did the job, BUT... My husband and I purchased this tent just under two weeks ago, and used it for our first camping trip this past weekend. Being that neither one of us is an experienced camper, we were able to get the tent up and down with relative ease. I love the pockets, the height and how roomy it was. I can't imagine that the marriage would have survived a two or even three person tent. I really wanted to give a higher rating, but the cord in one of the poles came apart. After ONE use? Once I'm done with this review, I'll be contacting Customer Service about a replacement pole. The tent came with instructions to contact CS before returning it to the point of purchase. We had such a good time that we plan on camping once a month (we live in CA so the weather doesn't restrict us as much). If it hadn't been for this one problem, I would have given it a 4 or 5 star rating.

Rated 3 out of 5 by GaryMountain from Poles poorly engineered. No replacement parts We love the ease of set up, it has really nice features, but the poles are not able to endure the bends that normally occur, and replacement parts are not offered. The photo is an extreme example, but sharp bends are common, given the way the tent has to be set up.
