Our Troop bought three of these after a fundraiser specifically for new tents. The bottom of each pole is expandable and locked into the extended position by way of a "cam" inside the inner pole that pops out and protrudes through a hole in the outer pole. After our fourth camp, two of the tents would no longer stay extended. We discovered that one of the cams had fallen apart and was located in various places inside the pole. There is no fix. After the fifth camp, the third tent had the same issue. At less than 10 camps, most of the poles had this issue. All is not lost however. We just pack extra tent stakes in the bag. The tent stake can be shoved in the hole long-ways to hold in reasonable in place.

meh
worked well first setup. repacking the tent was hard. second set up one of the poles come out from the three way connections at the top. took us an hour to get it set up, the three way connection broke and we had to support that half of the tent with bungee cords to a tree. unless i can find a part for replacement the tent got one good use before it ended up in the trash.

Good for one use
Sets up in about one minute as advertised. Roomy and spacious! Taking down is another story. First time taking down the poles twisted and cracked the crown where they all come together. Not on just one, but on both crowns. Guess what? No replacement parts for these which could snap out and snap in for replacement. It’s really too bad. The tent had a lot of potential.

Stays Dry Inside!!!!!!!!!
I've been camping for years and have gone through a lot of tents. It took me years to find a tent that actually stays dry inside during rain showers. If you touched the side of the tent the water would come pouring in like it lost all of it's repellant. We have used this tent through different weather occasions and it has not failed us yet. When the kids rub the sides when it's raining, it stays dry. It doesn't turn into an oven on sunny days. We have a small fan that we hang inside and it keeps the temperature comfortable. I will be using this tent for many years. We couldn't be happier.

Nice try.
First use it was fast and easy to set up. Roomy and had some nice features. As soon as a breeze came up it began to buckle and twist out of shape. Second use I got creative and secured the cord to the poles directly and double the anchor points. I was able to get a pretty solid setup. 3rd time the joint hub twisted in such a way I could not fathom and a support rod magically came out of the sleave I could not return. Does not pack into the bag well at all.

quick up and down
the tent goes up and down quickly and is light for its size. It is good for hot weather camping where there are lots of bugs

Dome tents are great.
I have the 2 person version of this tent. I really like dome tents because they are easy to assemble. In my experience, these tents are very good in rain. I have been camping several times when there was a torrential downpour and I returned to my tent to find that the interior was bone dry. I think that the rainfly is key for keeping the tent dry. I have never had any leaks or issues in the rain.
