Bring all the luxuries from home – you’ll have a place to store them safely out of the elements without taking up precious tent space in a Coleman® Juniper Lake™ 4-Person Instant Dome Tent with Annex. Your gear will be close at hand in the ventilated annex. It's large enough to stash backpacks, other camping gear, or a medium-sized dog bed. Pre-attached poles make setup a simple matter of unfold, extend and secure, so your tent is ready in about 60 seconds. If it rains, the WeatherTec™ system with its patented welded floors and inverted seams will help you stay dry. A door awning and included rainfly only help to keep the water out. Illumiline™ reflective guy lines are more visible at night so you don't get tripped up if you need to take a walk in the dark. Juniper Lake™ 4-Person Instant Dome Tent with Annex is rated 2.8 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not bad... Good wall, floor, and pole material were used in the tent's construction. And the design is handy. Only drawback encountered was the black nylon-plastic pieces used. I plan to replace all of these with flexible metal key rings, after one of the plastic pieces split in mildly cold weather. The use of plastic in high stress areas cost this tent the 5th star. Sad, as a metal key-ring is stronger and does the job cheaply. The price was right.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from One-person set up, a few issues Mostly, I love this tent. Just the right size for two with gear, even fits my cot. I can set it up myself in just a couple of minutes. Has held up nicely in the rain. ( I use waterproof sealer at the start of each season.) My concern is that the fabric at the top easily gets pinched in the plastic hub and has torn (I have patched it) and the tarp-like floor fabric has worn where the tent folds up. (I have patched it.) As others have noted, the zipper design on the door is poor and gets caught frequently, and the rainfly restricts ventilation at the windows. For four camping seasons, the tent has served me well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Simple Improvements Needed I may have bit of a problem because I own probably around ten tents (maybe more :/ ), but I feel that gives me a better understanding as to how to review this tent... Pros: -The price is nice for what you get -The setup is extremely fast and easy for one person (it really is about 60 seconds) -The annex is nice if used for gear and/or dog -It feels rather durable Cons: It packs down rather large (probably a trade-off for how fast it pitches) I bought this particular tent a few months ago to take my four-month-old camping. I liked the annex to create a safe space for my child to sleep and play with minimal supervision. The annex proved to be great for that for the most part. Only issue I found is that there was a lot of heat loss from this area. Yes, there is a partition, but how much heat would that have really conserved when closed? The annex has a rather large mesh ceiling, great for looking out of when flap is rolled back, but when cover it still allows a lot of heat to seep out. Perhaps a flush closer that is normally found on tent windows would have helped here. I actually woke up a few times a night to turn on a propane heater for 10 minute increments throughout the night and the heat never seemed to stick around long. I largely blame this on the mesh in the annex and perhaps on the material. Another thing I could see using improving is the visibility when the rainfly is on. Out of the three window on the tent, only the one on the door allows viewing capabilities when the rainfly is attached. The door zipper could use some help. It gets stuck on the material often. Also it is rare not to need two hands to use it. All-in-all it's a good tent for its price, just needs to have a few changes to make a great tent for its price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from God size but very poor quality We were Coleman product fans, big campers in Aussie, many tents and versions over the years have kept us happy. We took this away for a interstate trip and on the first night the front doo. r zipper stopped working. Fortunately the other end of the zip allowed us to close up. After about 6 nights in the tent both were gone and we had to resort to trying to fill the gap with an improvised mossie net. We were lucky it didn't rain. Otherwise the construction was OK, it put up and down quickly but this zip problem is rather fundamental so I would not recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great tent some issue Bought this tent in April of 2017 and by September 2017 one of the poles got jammed and now has what looks like a paperclip wire sticking out. It took so much to get the wire back in and a lot of force to get the tent to break down. Before all the the tent was great! Lots of room for me and my husband and our two large dogs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful Tent I bought this tent back in February of 2017 and it had broken in March of 2018 and I can't get a replacement or credit for it because it broke from wind. The wind snapped the back right pole in half at the joint in the poles and now I can't go camping until I save enough money to buy another tent. Clearly they care about the experience of the customer

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Neat, but not nice On our first outing with the tent, the zipper to the door broke. We fought it for hours trying to get it working properly, but had no luck. Took off most of the clip in the front of the tent to take all tension off the zipper and just tried to close it enough to feel like we were in a tent. The pole set up is neat and the annex fits a large dog bed perfectly. Just needs to have a working door....
