Looking for the battery cartridge for the D CELL BATTERIES. I HAVE A CPX6, the battery will hold a charge, I would really like to purchase this if I could find it.

We would be delighted to answer your inquiry. Please be advised that the battery cartridge for this lantern is not available. But no worries, as we are always looking for ways to better our product and service, we always ensure that consumers' feedback and concerns are shared to the concerned department. Please be advised that your lantern has a 3 year limited warranty. I have a small hand, and I am unable to take the bottom cover off the lantern in order to charge it. What am I doing wrong? I am turning in the direction indicated by the &ldquo;close&rdquo; on the bottom.
