Garbage. Don't buy it
Bought ours brand new and it wouldn't light. The instructions were terrible so we watched some YouTube videos and got it to light after 90 minutes. Every time after it was a crap shoot. The "Insta Light" sometimes worked, kinda worked, didn't work. I learned all the troubleshooting tips and it still would take 60-90 minutes to light -that is if our patience didn't run out. My friends have the same lantern but it's an older model that had a button for the Insta Light and theirs instantly fired up. The newer model got rid of the button and the Insta Light is worked into the dial for the gas. Maybe we bought a faulty lantern. I would like to send it in directly to Coleman and exchange it

Replacement glass is discontinued
This lantern is tall. If you have kids around, plan to have it knocked over. Had the lantern for three days before it happened to us, totally our fault, but the replacement globe is discontinued?? Just bought the lantern less than a week ago and parts are already discontinued? Will not be buying again.

Not made in USA
Grew up camping with Coleman fuel lantern/stoves made the switch to propane. They light easier with the piezo electronic starter, very happy with it. My only complaint is it's not made in USA.

Cheap and not worth the money
Bought it lastnight at Walmart and the handle falls out very easy and the tank stand does not stay on the tank

Missing parts
Looks pretty much the same as the ones I used 20+years ago as a scout. Only bad part is, the one I purchased had absolutely no bail to hang it. Ended up going without light for my camping trip since I want to be able to return it for for a brand or type that I can hang. It clearly shows it having a bail on the package but definitely didn't have one upon opening it.

Unsecure handle dangerous!
A great concept to protect glass, but my 83 year old mother bought to camp with my sister and handle won’t secure in. Guessing missing clips and no instructions regarding how to install and secure handle. Very unsafe. Every lid/handle has been assembled on all my previous lantern covers.

Instastart quit, can’t safely light
Bought the lantern for camping. Made a few trips. The instastart igniter works intermittently meaning I have to halfway disassemble the lantern to light it. Dangerous.
