All you need to do is turn the adjustable control knob to activate the Instastart™ automatic ignition, then simply dial in the perfect brightness. Once your lantern is lit, the wide base provides stability when placed on a table, and the bail handle allows for easy hanging. No matter where you go, the PerfectFlow™ pressure control technology produces a steady fuel stream and consistent performance in all kinds of weather. When you're ready to head home, the QuickPack™ storage system helps get you on your way quickly, since the lantern base is also the bottom of your case. Threads stripped after two uses
I used this lantern two times and it was fabulous, put out a lot of light, easy to light and stays lit for hours. However, this weekend when I tried to use it on our camping trip, the propane tanks wouldn’t screw on; I tried several tanks so it was the threads on the lantern that were stripped. I’d like to get another like this but fear the same thing would happen again. Now I have a green lantern paperweight,

Decent lantern
Bought to take on trips due to the quickpac case. Puts off lots of light. Only complaints are it has froze up in the cold on me and the Insta light doesn't always work, but nothing that is a big deal. I've got two old Coleman white fuel lanterns I use if it's too cold out.

Coleman is the best
I come from a long line of campers all my
Uncles were hunters and families would take multiple families camping adventures. The Coleman name is the solid bet on product from camp stoves to make break lunch and dinner. And propane lanterns to light the night and keep all the kids feeling safe with plenty of light. They are the only company I’d trust to keep our families camping adventures fun and safe. The best
These are the best lanterns. Not only are they great for light when camping, they've saved me on the farm a few times. We once had an unexpected flash flood, I rushed home to find my chick's barely alive. Power was out of course, I brought them in the bathroom and got out my lantern to provide heat. An hour later chick's were alive and well like nothing happened. My Coleman lantern stays out year around incase of emergencies.

The
I love this why it gives us so much late at night. It’s super warm as well even though it’s not his behavior, he definitely isn’t one. I love how bright it is to like region 10 and it takes up the whole tent. I also like how much can just be a good size to like as an indoor even carry it with you and it’s good to take like outdoors it really like it. It’s like one of my favorite lights.

Must Have for Camping!
We use the Coleman Lantern on every camping trip we go on because it gives the perfect amount of light. This is very portable, doesn’t take up much space when packing. Uses a small propane tank & will last your whole trip for a few days. Does have a dimmer knob to adjust brightness & is ignited using a match. This is a much have for any camping trip!

A must have for camping, fishing, hunting, and power outages. Coleman has perfected the single and double mantel lantern.
I couldn't even tell you how many camping trips and power outages my Coleman lanterns have gotten me through. I've been using them since I was a kid. Small enough to take anywhere you may need light and bright enough to get the job done. I'd say you can get a good 6 to 10 hours use out of one can of propane depending on how bright you want it.
