Very well made!
Primary use is for emergency lighting..... with battery lighting that can sit for months and months, you should store the lights without the batteries installed to prevent damage from leaky batteries. With the Northstar candle lantern and it's Coleman replacement candles I can store them for years and years without any problems. I have tested the lantern for 2 to 3 hrs and their is no soot in the chimney, or wax drips inside the lantern on a level surface. The top of the lantern is the only hot place, the rest of the lantern remains cool. The Northstar is compact and lightweight with a wide base, and would be great for camping trips.

Cute and Safe to Use
These little candle lanterns are so cute, reminding me of the big camping lanterns. They are also very safe, with the candle behind the glass, even if it gets knocked over.

Attractive and well made
I ordered eight for centerpieces for a celebration of life for my father-in-law who loved camping. My order came in 2 boxes. Unfortunately, all of the candles were melted off to the side in one of the boxes. I contacted Coleman and they rectified the problem.
