Rated 3 out of 5 by from Unfortunately, my only option When you buy a pole replacement kit you expect a replacement and not a repair kit. This is the latter. I'm not very pleased but I had no option to repair a tent pole that cracked after only four nights of use. Sure it was out of warranty by almost three months by the time I contact coleman and buying this repair kit was the only solution they provided...and it was out of stock at the time. I really wish that the product didn't fail after such a short period of time and I wish that coleman customer service was able to better stand behind their product considering the circumstances.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what I expected This is a replacement pole kit for one pile only and it is not specific to the actual model of tent I have. The length of poles does not even fit in the tent bag I have. I just don't know why you can't order specific replacement poles that are made for the exact tent you have. I lost my original poles so I don't know the exact length I need and can't find that information anywhere to be able to build the new poles from the replacement kit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wrong Based it off the size chart that was in my tents bag. Still wasn't the right size. You website should just say things like "fits river gorge 6 person dome tent" rather than have to play this stupid guessing game that seems to have failed multiple people besides myself.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple and effective replacement kit I have a Montana 8 tent where one of the poles broke. Initially I fixed the pole with ductape, but wanted a permanent solution. The replacement kit comes as pieces of fiber pole, with a cord and a hook. A good instruction video to replace pieces of the poles is available on youtube. Following this video I replaced the broken piece of the pole in some 30 minutes. It is now functional again; happy I ordered the replacement kit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Can't replace a pole with one Listed as a replacement pole, need two to replace one. Requires significant work to cut and replace. Pole isn't the same size or weight as original either.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It was a pile of junks Don’t buy any of their repair kits. My dumas I bought 3. All were a pile of junks. They were slightly larger than it should. They were not true to its size. I would give it a 0 stars if I could.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from They make good garden stakes I needed replacement poles for my Coleman tent but the model number I needed was discontinued. I called and asked what they recommended and I purchased these poles per their recommendation. Needless to say they were not at all compatible. Rather than deal with a return I am using them as garden stakes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works fine. This is a 'replacement kit' and I did not realize for a while that 'repair kit' is different, as pointed out in the directions which come with each. I was most concerned with the diameter, which is really the most important thing to get right. The replacement kit was not nearly long enough to truly replace our pole, with 13 sections. I used this as a 'repair kit' and it was fine. We have extra sections for future use. I read some complaints from people who wanted a simple finished complete pole, but the lengths of these are so different from tent to tent, it is just as well you just replace the bad segments. It wasn't that hard, and they give you what you need. It helps if you have some 'crafty' skills, though, and patience. But if you are a camper... you probably have patience and may as well learn to be more crafty. I did buy a different stretch cord and restrung almost all the tent poles while I was at it, since the original had lost most of its stretchiness; I wanted something stronger; the problem was the inside hole in the poles is only so big, so it was a bit tricky getting the larger cord through the poles; I worked it out, but this required much more effort than if I had just used the smaller cord that came with it.
