Rated 5 out of 5 by Steve13 from Affordable & perfect duplication for WalMart tent This is clearly labeled a total of 150" in length. Complaining it's the wrong length is not a valid complaint. Different tents have different length poles. Cutting poles is going to be necessary, as this is not produced to replace a specific pole in a specific tent. The most important thing is that you get the diameter of the pole correct. I ran a set of calipers and measured mine at 1/2", 12.7 mm. That's step #1. The instructions provided in the kit are fantastically complete, especially its guideline to use tape and to score all around the perimeter of your pole with the hacksaw before cutting. Following those instructions the job was fast and easy. On the instructions, no part number appears. That's unfortunate. Below the parts list, the first thing the instructions do is toss you a red herring: "The Coleman Tent Pole Replacement Kit is designed to replace a whole fiberglass pole. It is NOT designed to replace a damaged individual pole section within a fiberglass pole. To replace a damaged individual pole section within a fiberglass pole, use the Coleman Tent Repair Kit instead." No part number is given. There is no 12.7 mm diameter Coleman Tent Repair Kit. This is all that is available. And it works great. Whatever could that weirdly framed couple of sentences mean? It's clear that Coleman isn't too concerned that people buy what they need, and don't mind confused customers milling about, leaving unfavorable reviews on this website. And it's Coleman's fault, not the complainers'. A tiny bit of thoroughness and thoughtfulness would fix the whole lot.

Rated 3 out of 5 by RyanTheCamper from Not what I expected My tent label has two part numbers, a repair and a replacement. I would expect replacement poles to be the exact parts I need for my tent. Nope, you still have to cut them and string them. Next time I’ll get my replacement parts from another company.
