Signal Mountain™ 8-Person Instant Tent
Adventure is moments away when you set up the Coleman® Signal Mountain™ 8-Person Instant Tent. Pre-attached poles make setup a simple matter of unfold, extend and secure, so your tent and the integrated rainfly are ready in about about 60 seconds. If it rains, the WeatherTec™ system with its patented welded floors and inverted seams will help you stay dry. Additionally, a door awning helps to keep the water out. A ground vent increases air circulation to help you stay cool and comfortable. Illumiline™ reflective guy lines are more visible so you don't get tripped up if you need to take a walk at night. A room divider provides extra privacy for your entire group as they relax in a space large enough for up to two queen airbeds. When it's time to head home, the tent fits into an included carry bag until you're off on your next adventure.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Stan from A good concept poorly executed I like the easy of set up and the layout of the tent. That being said the tent is not very durable. Just got back from an eight day camp in Wyoming and had several issues. The main ridge poles would not stay extended and required a daily dose of duct tape, luckily I always have some nearby. The door zipper is not a one-handed zipper and more times then not has to have the rain flap pulled out of the zipper to close or open it. There are not side gussets to keep the sides from caving in during periods of Wyoming wind. I am not sure where the water came in but it leaked during a quick Wyoming downpour. It is probably a good backyard tent, but not for a serious camping trip. We have the Coleman 6-person cabin tent and it has worked well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by GWyskers from An instant headache I go camping alot and decided to "upgrade" my tent this past year . Well I used it a total of 2x and will never use again . Rainproof absolutly not ,it leaked where poles pockets are attached . 1 min set up how about 1 hr because the poles somehow twisted around each other as well as the center pole release button was broken . Zipper constantly stuck. Seems to me Coleman failed on this especially after seeing multiple reviews all stating same problems. You would think they take it off the market and save customers from ruined camping trips and alot of money

Rated 1 out of 5 by Camping life from Tension rod The main tension rod on this tent releases on its own. We have to reset the tent 3 times a day because the roof collapses. Since we did not think to set it up when we bought it we were unable to return it after our family camping trip.

Rated 1 out of 5 by cjmayo from Poor quality. Pole broke on second use, leaks This was purchased for yearly camping trip. Used twice, leaked twice. On take down the pole broke. If there is water on the rain fly when you open the door it pours into the tent when you open the door.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Stgven from No Replacement Parts Available In the past Coleman was known for supporting products that are decades old, but no longer. It was more than a year before I was able to use my 8-Person Coleman Instant Tent. I used it once and a small part connecting to the center hub broke. Because of the long-standing Coleman reputation I expected a replacement part to be available after the 1-year warranty period. Unfortunately, Coleman has chosen not to support products like this post warranty. For the want of a $5 part the tent is now useless.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Steph1 from DO NOT BUY I have to agree with everything the other reviews said. Great concept, terrible execution. My son and I go camping several times each summer. This tent has given us trouble from the first day. Middle support pole would not click into place, once it did we couldn't unclick it. then the tab broke. Condensation is so severe that you have to sleep with windows slightly open (no matter how cold). When it rains you get puddles in the tent. Flaps get stuck in zipper every single time. Pole broke and we can't seem to find a replacement part. On the good side, it is fairly easy to set up and break down, and it's nice an roomy. That being said I still would not buy this again or recommend anyone else buy it. I'm actually very surprised Coleman is still selling it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Unhappycamper from Saggy and Leaky We’ve used this tent three times, and have had problems every time. The top tent pole either won’t extend all the way or won’t collapse once it does. Not the tent you want — you end up wet, dirty and tired from trying to fix it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Zhudson7 from Poorly thought out. I was highly disappointed in this tent. There’s no air flow so it stays hot. The zipper door to get out is terrible and you get stuck inside. It does NOT come with a rain fly. I hate that I wasted so much money on this tent.
