Description
The hybrid shape of the Coleman® Big Basin™ 15 Big & Tall Sleeping Bag gives you all the added warmth of a mummy and the extra space of a rectangular bag, perfect for when the temperature dips down to 15 °F. On warmer nights, simply keep the adjustable hood loose and open up the two-way zipper to get custom ventilation. When things cool off, lightweight Coletherm® hollow polyester insulation helps to retain heat, and the Thermolock™ draft tube helps to block warmth from escaping through the zipper. The fleece-lined footbox and special quilting construction surround your feet and body to help eliminate potential cold spots. Thanks to the ZipPlow™ zipper, you'll get snag-free opening and closing every time. A durable, ripstop-reinforced polyester cover will ensure you get to use this extra-warm bag season after season.

Great value sleeping bag
I purchased this sleeping bag 2 years ago. We have slept in some cold temperatures when making the purchased I picked this bag to have a 0-f bag when I received it the box says 15f so I figured 0f is the like I can survive 0- and 15f is the comfort temp. I use a new nemo pad with a 4.6R value with a wool blanket inside at 19f I woke up and was pretty chilly. I figured maybe my pad wasn't filled all the way 4 more times I woke up at 19f and had to fire up the woodstove someone without a winter pad will die before it gets to 0f please keep that in mind I would give this a 30f survival temp and a comfort of 40f and temperatures below I would highly recommend a winter sleeping pad

Coleman Big Basin sleeping bag - a warm cuddle
Let me start by stating that I don't like mummy bags. My legs get restrained and its torture. This bag isn't a mummy. It is roomy and warm. It has a wonderful head covering that I can tighten down like a hooded sweatshirt. It is "Big and Tall" and I am not, so it cuddles me like my bed at home. The price was reasonable. Shipping was fast. I bought two so my husband could have his own.

A Real Night Out!
Daily Reviews: If you've ever been camping you're guaranteed to have used COLEMAN! Anything from fire pit cook ware, flashlights or tents Coleman 's is the most dependable in camping gear. I enjoy many different aspects of the camp out including fire side chats. I enjoy getting a toasted marshmallow just right! I promise you that nothing is going to go right if I don't get a good night's rest for the adventure ahead. A well padded water resistant sleeping bag with that extra space makes for the perfect night of star gazing and sleep.

Warm and big but the zippers broke
We bought this for my son about 2 years ago it was great 1st it is a 2 person bag more less. So lots of and very warm. We sleep out with when it was below 35 and very warm. However after about 1 year one of the red zip plows broke off. It was still usable but harder to use. Then the bottom zipper broke and now you can zip it fully. It is a really great except for the zippers .

Great sleeping bag!
Got to use it for the first time this past week. Rainy and cold the 1st night, next to nights were in the low 30's. I never got cold in sleeping bag.I'm 6'2 the sleeping bag it was roomy and comfortable. I would definitely recommend it..

New Camping Bag
I just got rid of my 1972 REI sleeping bag, and wanted the next one to be large and able to handle a cold night. Backpacking weight is no longer a concern, but I still wanted something easy to pack and carry. This bag is perfect.

Replaced My 20+ Year Old Coleman Katmai Bag
I had a Katmai bag for over 20 years and the zipper broke and could not be repaired, so I went with the Big Basin...When I opened it I was impressed with the appearance and the fact that it is an oversized bag...I am going on my next camping trip 8/30/22 and cant wait to use it in the field...

To get the Coleman Big Basin&trade; 15 Big &amp; Tall Sleeping Bag back into the stuff sack efficiently, follow these steps: - Lay It Out: Spread out the sleeping bag on a flat surface. If it's damp or dirty, make sure it's completely dry and clean before packing it away. - Roll the Bag: Starting at the foot end, roll the sleeping bag tightly towards the head end. Try to keep the roll as tight and even as possible to make it easier to fit into the stuff sack. - Compress the Roll: Once you have the sleeping bag rolled up, use your body weight or hands to compress the roll as much as possible. This helps to reduce its bulk. - Stuff into Sack: Place the rolled sleeping bag into the stuff sack. If the sack has compression straps, use them to tighten the sack around the sleeping bag and reduce its size further. - Zip or Close: Securely close the stuff sack, making sure no part of the sleeping bag is left outside. By rolling and compressing the sleeping bag efficiently, you can fit it back into the stuff sack with less effort.
