Amazing sleeping bag for cooler weather!
This sleeping bag exceeded all my expectations, and then some! It has enough padding that it feels very comfortable and cozy laying on the ground outside. I was worried about the “mummy” shape possibly being too tight, however I did not feel constricted at all inside of it. I had plenty of room to spare, and it kept me very warm in 60° weather, which is cooler for Florida. I loved being able to enjoy the full snow moon tonight, and this sleeping bag added to the relaxing atmosphere outside. The material is great, the clasps are a nice touch, I love having the hood to stick my head in, it is great to move around in, super comfy/cozy, and overall amazing! You can tell it is a quality sleeping bag. I will keep using this over and over for any outdoor excursions I have, and highly recommend this bag to anyone looking for a sleeping bag for 40° temps and up!

Feels like a cocoon
This sleeping bag has made me super excited for summer to come! It keeps you warm down to 40 degrees F (I’ve only tried indoors so far but feels really insulated) and has a mummy design so you really get wrapped up inside. Easy to zip inside and outside and even features an interior pocket. Plus, love the red color! While I haven’t had a chance to test this outdoors yet (currently 15 degrees here!) I am looking forward to it!

It's very useful and warm
This is definitely a product you need if you plan to go camping. It's comfortable and warm. Easy to use and pack. It's a beautiful red. It's very cozy and does the job well. I plan to take this every camping trip from now on. My only unhappiness came from tearing the tag to expand. (As it states) Don't do it! It rips the bag. I had to sew mine up again to fix the holes it left. It doesn't need to expand lol

Good quality, great for sleeping in the cold
The quality of the tidelands mummy sleeping bag is amazing, it’s pretty snug to keep you warm. I did have a bit of trouble getting it zipped up by myself so my husband did have to help me. It has a small pocket on inside for a heating pack or any small personal items. My husband is a larger person so it didn’t fit him too well around the shoulders and torso but it was very nice for me as a smaller person.

Comfy & Perfect size of Mummy Sleeping Bag!
Coleman’s Mummy design this sleeping bag is good in length and very comfortable. The material is well used. The zip works smoothly and the head collar is warm with good amount of material to support head resting. Sleeping bag comes in very good quality cylinder bag with strong carry on handle. This will be great for outdoor camping. Love it!

Nice and durable sleeping bag
I do think this is a nice and durable sleeping bag but I also have a couple of issues with it which is the reasoning of my three star. It is thick so it will keep you warm, but I really wish it would unzip all the way even at the feet so you could even use it as a blanket if you would like. On another note I do like how it will zip all the way up and comfort your head to get the most maximum amount of warmth. I do think it would be harder for a thicker size person as myself to use or to be able to zip up all the way I can zip it up all the way but I almost feel like it would be a little too claustrophobic. If you do not have any of these issues and you're okay with that then I think that this would be a perfect sleeping bag. I also know Coleman makes some great products so the claims that the sleeping bag makes with the warmth is true it does keep you very warm this is just a few things to think about if you're thinking of purchasing this product.

My youngest and frenchie absolutely love this sleeping bag. It’s warm, soft and comfortable. My frenchie Charlie has already claimed it and sleeps on it practically every night. It’s easy to wash too. I know it’s intended for camping but it’s a sleeping bag and it works for him. lol thanks again.

Snug as a bug
What a great sleeping bag. Snug yet roomie. I'm 5'5 135 and this was the perfect fit. Enough to move around but still keeps you warm. The hood feature is my favorite. Zips up smoothly with a peak a boo spot for fresh air. This is no joke my all time favorite sleeping bag.

Super cozy and warm
We have been loving this sleeping bag! The color is a nice, vibrant red and it’s very cozy. My teen loves to waddle around the house in it or use it laying on top of her bed. It’s large enough for a teen or adult and cozy enough to use anywhere. Keeps you very warm.

This mummy sleeping bag stays really warm. I used it camping the week prior up in the mountains and it kept me warm all night. Inside had a substantial amount room and an easy zip up from the inside. Looking forward to getting a second one for my wife!

Great quality
It took few days to receive the sleeping bag. But it arrived on time!! Overall the quality is really good and the neat workmanship details are handled very well. When opened, it looks like a quilt. It is very fluffy and easy to put in the storage bag.

can’t wait to use this outside
it’s currently winter and cold where i live, so i haven’t gotten the chance to try this outdoors while camping. i was able to test it out indoors, and i am very impressed. i am excited to put it to use later this year as the weather warms up.

I was looking for something a little lighter for summer camping & hiking and this is perfect! I love the color. It is lightweight. Quality material and actually fits back into the bag, which never happens! I would easy get another one!!!

It’s more compact than I thought, comfy, the zipper works well on both sides, says it fits 5’11” so my 6’3” husband was stretching it at both ends.

Best lightweight sleeping bag I've seen & easy to roll back up!
I received the Coleman Tidelands 40° Mummy Adult Sleeping Bag in Red for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. The sleeping bag came nicely packaged in its own bag & unlike past sleeping bags I've purchased, the Coleman bag didn't smell strongly. In fact, it had no odor at all. It is magnificently soft to the touch & is inviting due to the feel of the material. This particular bag is for MILD temperatures, & the lowest suggested temperature for use is 40°F. This bag wouldn't be useful for colder weather but due to the milder temperature use, it is not too bulky or thick & is easy to store in the bag. There are several Coleman specific design features that I adore featured on this bag. For instance:
* It's made from Coletherm™ insulation- which retains heat but without the extra bulkiness. So you get the comfort & warmth from a thinner insulation.
* It also has "roll control" to assist with rolling the bag back up neatly & straight. This makes it super easy to put it back into the bag for storage & carrying. I don't know if I've ever had a bag go back into the original carrying bag once I've unrolled it. This bag is thinner as mentioned above so that's an additional perk when rolling it back up for storage.
* It has the Thermolock™ draft tube to lock out drafts & hold in heat which may escape from the zipper. So basically, there's an extra fabric strip along the zipper both inside and out. I almost became discouraged when I saw this because I've been trapped in a sleeping bag before due to similar features...the zipper always got snagged & stuck on this fabric. Well, somehow, Coleman has perfected this draft preventing science because the zippers boast the ZipPlow design & it works! I REALLY tested this over & over! It never snagged one time & the zipper moves seamlessly.
* ZipPlow™ prevents snagged fabric as you zip or unzip a zipper. This sleeping bag has 2 dual zippers so they're accessible inside of the bag & on the outside. It's easy to use one hand to open or close it & it never once snagged on the fabric of the draft tube. I am impressed with this more than the hooded feature.
* It has a semi sculpted hood that retains heat. Honestly, this feature is cool for someone like me who is cold a lot of the time. I sat around a bonfire with family & friends, wrapped up in my sleeping bag, @ it draped across my head & sat perfectly in place due to the hood. I was in love immediately.
One major thing to note about this semi hooded sleeping bag from Coleman is it comes in various sizes! I am 5'10" & this bag accommodates up to 5'11" per the label. It fits comfortably & has a little room to spare, which I love. I don't do restrictive space or too well with feeling constrained. This size fit me well & had wiggle room. It gets warm almost instantly & retains body heat AMAZINGLY well.
This bag is for milder climates but I was in a hoodie with leggings & wool socks outside in low 20°F weather at nighttime, & I broke a sweat within 10 minutes. I am cold natured. This bag MAY work for slightly colder temps but I'd not risk camping with it all night in freezing temperatures. I usually camp in springtime & I think this bag will be perfect for my trips to the mountains.
I love Coleman products & I still own quite a few Coleman brand items that my dad purchased over 40 years ago. They still function & work, so our family is a big fan. This bag just solidified my love for their products even more. I've tried other brands of bags & am not one to buy something for the brand or for the name...usually. Coleman is one of the few brands I swear by because their sleeping bags & other outdoor products are FAR superior to others. Their ability to make a sleeping bag that holds & retains heat so well without it being super heavy & thick & burdensome is a testament to their advanced technology & design capabilities. Their prices are not bad at all when you understand how amazing & superior their products are & I am still using their products 40 years after purchase. It's worth it. I love this bag. It'll be used for more than just camping. I can use it outdoors due to the hood & it stays in place & is super lightweight yet keeps me warm enough to sweat in the winter in 20° mountain air. I'd definitely recommend this bag! My favorite part? The zipper! You've not lived life until you've felt the panic of being trapped inside a sleeping bag with no way out...I'd not recommend that...& that's why I say to buy this bag & skip that trauma! 🤣
