Rated 5 out of 5 by Geoffrey from Great design, works well for me I bought this to use on the golf course when it gets really hot outside. It keeps my drink really cold, even when stuffed inside my hot golf bag for hours. The spout works just fine. Other reviewers complained about it being hard to drink from the bottle. Understand that there is no straw, so you have to tilt the bottle up to "pour" the liquid into your mouth. There is a button you must push to open the spout which releases the liquid. While the button is pressed, the container is properly aspirated and liquid flows very freely. The cap is well designed for functional use and for easy cleaning. There is a tab in the cap that when pushed disengages the mouth piece stopper, which makes the whole thing easier to clean. The mouth piece easily snaps back into place. I did not have any of the problems noted by other reviewers. However, I have not really used the handle, so I can't speak to how durable that part is.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Betsylud from a little disappointed I've had mine for 7 months. Sometimes it is too hard to suck the water and sometimes I get all air. It also leaks all the time when in my bag. The handle lost a screw in just a few days. It holds a perfect amount and keeps it really cold but it's discouraging to pay this much and have such issues. I tried to buy another bc I like everything about it as I said except for the issues.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Mshellwell from I should have read reviews first! A local store had these on clearance so I was excited to grab it up on the great price. Now I see why they were on clearance; it makes a lot of squeaking noise while trying to suck the liquid up the straw. Steer clear from this model. The other model is my very, very favorite!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Amarand from Bottle keeps water cold - handle keeps breaking. We're on our third bottle in two weeks. Our son has gone to camp every every year for the past three years, and has brought an inexpensive water bottle (as recommended). These cheap water bottles lasted through the entire camp season, and we'd usually just toss them, and get a new one as needed the next year. This year, we decided to get something "a little more durable" and sprung for this insulated water bottle. The metal part of the bottle itself is well-designed, although I can see it taking dents. It certainly holds the contents cold, as we had ice-water in there on a Friday morning, and it was still super cold when pouring it out on Monday. Having said that, the top plastic part of the bottle is a less than ideal design. 1) The handle has broken, in the same place, two times. We bought the bottle at our local retail store, and they were happy to replace the bottle each time, but I'm concerned that this bottle is not going to last an entire ten-week term of camp. Sad. 2) The spout is really hard to drink through. I'm not sure if it's because of poor design, or just a bad batch, but you're sucking against the vacuum of the bottle, and you'd think Coleman would have engineers that could understand a basic concept of leaving an additional hole for air to escape during the drinking process. Every coffee cup you get has this hole. It's basic physics. 3) For the price we paid, I would expect a better-designed top. 4) There's an "indentation" in the metal near the top of the bottle, and you'd think this would be for an alternate securing method (like a strap or something), but the Coleman representative I spoke with did not know of anything like this. So, if you're a careful adult, maybe securing this in a backpack, or drinking water at your desk, this is probably an okay value. Otherwise, I would highly NOT recommend this for camping if you intend on using the handle (it breaks too easily), or drinking water from the built-in spout (you're fighting against the vacuum of bad design).

Rated 2 out of 5 by Jeffindy from Hard to suck through straw This bottle is extremely hard to suck the contents up through the straw. Since it is vacuum sealed, it makes drinking like sucking on a milkshake. Even when you get some contents through the straw it is not enough to quench your thirst. I removed the straw and it works decently however it makes a dolphin noise.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Nope from No suction Where the straw connects to the lid is not air tight, so half of what is sucked through the straw is air bubbles. It's made so there are notches on the side of the straw and the bottle where they connect that keep it from being twisted tighter. Very poorly designed.
